If you can agree with that than what is the disconnect between soc med and socialism for you. It is incongruous. If a canidate goes to the wall for soc med they will apply this strategy to other aspects of policy including tax policy. Raising taxes leads to less money coming in; ever heard of the "Kennedy-Inspired" tax cuts of 1964? This is the only time taxes were cut that Dems remember fondly; albeit it had more to do with an American hero than tax policy. Socialist policies will cripple us.

Barack Obama, excuse me, is a constitutional scholar, and former head of an Ivy League law review. It is the Bush folks who lack respect for the constitution. They may be tapping your phone right now, and what would you be able to do about it?
Barack has more respect and knows more about our laws and history than any candidate in this race.

Dude grow up, you have no idea what you're talking about, it's a shame people like you elect Bush into office, and 25 states disagree with you. If 25 states believe that Obama is about positive change and about unity, then what's your problem? What drugs are you taking?

this man is beyond words! i have no doubt that Senator Obama can deliver on his words, promises, but our job isn't over after we help to get him elected. we have to continue to work with him and trust him. he may not always do exactly what we want him too, but we have to rethink some of our beliefs etc. WE Must Work with Obama our next United States of America President. For once, a president will have my trust. This is a defining moment in my life.

I agree, I think it's going to take every americans effort to change our country for the better, things are done when the bitching is stopped and the listening begins, when people stop shooting and start talking, when people stop pointing fingers to blame for cause instead of solving the problems. The time for this racial divide is nearly over, if Obama is elected I believe our children will look forward to a more united country, no more fearing of each other, no more blame, just unity!!!
