That's like saying "Making a sugar free cake is impossible" after being retorted that it is you then reply with "Making a cake topped with frosting strawberries and icecream on the side, without sugar, I think not." You obviously added a function which requires my rule to be broken. But a series of looped tracks paired with a spinner is all that's needed for a station.

@penguinchris796 Makes sense. But then it can go out, so it doesnt always work, plus, its not reaaly a station if its just a booster. What i said is what i define as a minecart station. It doesnt have to be defined in my method. I mean if it arrives and departs, but it can stop working randomly, its not really a fully functioning station and really isn't complete. Also, think of all the other things impossible to do without redstone torches, like a secure door locking system.

@moomoomoo309 Well there are more efficient boosters then the spinner the spinner just being the simplest. But if you think about it, it's actually more realistic if it goes out considering that happens a lot in real life. I personally love redstone in all of it's forms, especially the repeater, I was just pointing out that a minecart station is a poor example of something you would need a redstone torch for. Dispenser trap would be the best example I think.
