Sbagy, This is a great video! Perceptions can be very tricky business. This helps me. I like to remember to ask one question when I start taking a stand and digging in my heals for battle: Who says my perception or point of view is right anyway? Thank you for this video.
Some feedback. I would like to see it from the male view. Less soft whispery and not harsh either. With genuine love of people as the unseen emotional emphasis. Scientists say women have 30% more intuition. Men then have to develop that quality and compassion more if they want to access the genius within. Einstein said, so it must be true. What u say came to me when I dropped biased words and phrases, similar to dropping complaints without solutions. Most people don't like negative people.
Great! I hope you are the one that will give us the male point of view. Please tell me how these principles from Dan Carnegie have impacted you and what you can share with us as to how to apply them. Thanks for your feedback!
You are reading and speaking of the gold standard in personal relationships and life. Dale Carnegie took the wisdom of the ages, mixed with a whole lot of midwestern common sense, and produced books that are timeless guides to good living. To me, Dale Carnegie's principles trump every other 'guru' of today who just attempt to expand on what Carnegie said many years ago. If everyone lived just a tenth of what Carnegie wrote, we would have a much better world. Enjoyed your video!
I went to stushie.wordpress and scrolled down the page and found a condensed discussion called "A New Earth Chapter 1", also at "Kjos Ministries" there are seveal articles on Oprah and Eckhart. There is a new youtube video called "The Gospel According To Oprahs Friends" that is very informative.
Ithink it is a naive to not say someone is wrong. This is from the same liberals who hate Bush and say the war is wrong. Maybe those people should read this book more and not accuse and hate the US and our current president.
Opinions are completely worthless in the first place. They are based on personal experience and are completely delusional when forced on someone else. Honor oneself and honor others and God. What else is there?
I have both of those books...and yes, they are sage advice...thanks for the reminder. You are right with regard to the argument scenario, DON'T FEED INTO IT.
We don't need to (as Eckhart also says) react to what is happening, that, there is a "space" in which we can take the time to look at it..without becoming a part of it.

If that person is wrong, I would say, "Excuse me but my experience of that is not the same"..
