Nice touch mate... from a fellow Mark Brzezicki fan im interested in your tom tuning. I have 10", 12", 14" and 16" floor. All tunes to 4ths which seems to fit a lot of things. I may get a 15" floor to make up the tuning gap to the 16"... i cant fit an 8" in my setup. How are your tuned? by ear or studio set up?
@rammers2006 Thanks for the kind words! Basically, I just tune the toms to what I like to hear. I keep the top heads fairly loose and adjust the bottom heads to get the tone and sustain. I do this while hitting the drum and when it sounds good to me, I leave it. I don't concern myself with each lug being equal tension etc. Hope this helps.
Man oh man. I met this guy back in 1998 when I was in Canada for a summer. He gave me free lessons. I'd been playing for like six months at the time. Those lessons changed my life! (I lived in Bangladesh and there was nobody to teach me rudiments.) I was randomly reminiscing and thought to look him up. Nice guy and amazing drummer, he even gave me his demo CD. I owe you so much man!!! You're still the man!!
Hi ZildjianA. The heads I'm using are Remo coated ambassadors on top and clear Yamaha factory heads on the bottom. My drums are the Beech custom in blueberry stain with sizes 8,10,12,16,22, all standard depth. Thanks.
That's pretty incredible. Very good timing and flow! I'd love to see you cover specific songs by Peter... especially if you'd challenge Ged Lynch's current Rhythm of the Heat ending solo with one of your own.
Nicegroove man killer solo and set

That is an awesome solo. How about posting something longer when you get the chance? Great rhythm, flow and technique.
