The thing that kills me about the 91 yd TD in Seattle is not his speed around the corner, but the way Bo just SLAMS Eugene Robinson into the ground with ONE ARM! And to think, all of these plays are 18 to 22 years old and I have YET to see someone remotely compare to him athletically. No one.

Barry had 176 yds and 2 TDs on 25 carries in that game. Bo went 18-129 with a 55yd TD. Raiders won 38-31 in one of the best MNF games ever.

Damn right. The only two RBs I have seen that had be sitting on the edge of my seat every time they touched the ball because you knew there was a chance you were going to see something that would leave you speechless.
Lions v Raiders in 1990 is one my favourite games ever. Bo and Barry combined for over 300 yds and 3 TDs in a 38-31 shootout. Epic match on MNF.

The dislocated hip was part of it, but he developed some kind of disease in the joint. Can't think of the name at the moment...

Following surgery and rehabilitation on his injured hip, it was discovered that Jackson had avascular necrosis, as a result of decreased blood supply to the head of his left femur. This caused deterioration of the femoral head, ultimately requiring that the hip be replaced.

oh ok, it's Avascular Necrosis, where the blood supply is nearly cut off to the femur, which attaches to the hip. The hip essentially went dead, requiring it to be replaced

The thing that kills me about the 91 yd TD in Seattle is not his speed around the corner, but the way Bo just SLAMS Eugene Robinson into the ground with ONE ARM! I mean...Robinson was a 200 pound safety and Bo damn near stiff arms him into the Kingdome turf. Just an absolute GOD athletically. And to think, all of these plays are 18 to 22 years old and I have YET to see someone remotely compare to him athletically. No one.

i dont believe anyone had the power, speed, and moves that this guy had. you can argue who is the best running back, but Bo is definately in that class, the injury robbed us all of some amazing runs

considering all the sports he played, it was as if he never took a break. could be the reason his career was cut short. but its safe to say that if he truly focused an mastered on one, he would easily be an all star/pro bowler many times over.

I know what I'm about to say is debatable but in my opinion Bo Jackson is the best running back to ever play in the NFL. Combination of 4.12 Speed and power incredible. Definitely my favorite football player of all time

Anyone who watched him play would have a hard time arguing. Not to mention, he didnt show up for football until baseball was over (october). So, no training camp, no practice, just show up and play in the 1st week of October. INSANE!!!
