  • Hi, I have a question about Pro Tools, I found out that there's no need to use hardware to do music.

Does hardware mean things such as like keyboard, sound drivers, microphone etc.?

I got all that stuff, but I wonder if it's possible to play and do music without the hardware?

I'm planning to buy a MacBook Air, so I can take my computer with me, can I then use Pro Tools without hardware?

    Please answer this message.

    // Biscuit22100

  • @Biscuit22100 no it means you dont need a interface(mbox, fast track, etc) plugged in..

  • how does this fucking thing work if i don't have ilok?

  • @Jmast3r6046 iLoks are available for purchase from the Avid Store. Shop.Avid.com

  • @avid I'm definitely not buying something that i don't need. ill just make a patch. this is ridiculous, i shouldn't have to buy stuff. I'm just gonna go make a homemade patch to act as an iLok, not paying for this shit.

  • @avid i downloaded a pro tools 10 and it said error no ilok found i didnt buy a ilok do i need to buy one for a trial?

  • freedom bullshit!! you still need a ilok thing for it to work in the first place, wtf is this?

  • My typical ProTools 9.0.6 experience:

    1. Start ProTools

    2. Wait 2-3 min for it to load

    3. Get a warning ilok will malfunction because of HD format

    4. Warns me that my Roland Octacapture buffer is not correct

    5. Reset buffer, ProTools crashes

    6. Restart ProTools, says I need to reboot computer to use it again

    7. Restart Computer

    8. Give up and use Reaper, works perfectly and loads in 5 seconds. Never crashes or complains that something is wrong with my computer.

  • Can I Record With Pro Tools If I Have A Alesis Hardware ?

  • man I bearly bought Pro tools 9 .....2 weeks Ago Then i went to Avid.com &they Just Release Pro Tools 10 mann...fuckkkk i want pro tools 10 its badass and easier

  • @OcampoProductionEnt you should be available for the free upgrade as long as you purchased after oct. 1.

  • i bought a crossgrade package and im havin problems running it on my new widows 7 .. 4 gb ram 500 gb hard drive and it keeps telling me i need to download the newest paceap driver which i did and its still telling me the same thing .. lil help :(

  • Tip for students, go onto ebay get yourself an mbox and ilok. Then go to a student store online buy protools 9 crossgrade(£93). Then you have got yourselves a pro tools set up cheaaaaaap!

  • What's "Heat"? (I have protools 9 + mbox pro 3)

  • Where can I find the differences between the Sibelius Score Editor built into Pro Tools 9 and Sibelius 7?

  • People trust me a 64 bit versions isn't a good thing I bought cubase 6 and it has an optional 64 bit version Which completely ruins everything plug ins dont bridge correctly that are 32 bit. certain feautures aren't compatible. Be thankful pr9 is compatiable with 64 bit. Because 64 bit versions isn't all that great and if you only have 6-8 gigs that extra 2-4 gigs of ram will still make it run smooth because 4gb will be dedicated to pt9 and 2 to other stuff running

  • I HAVE A 8-hr course on Pro Tools, I can teach you how to use every feature in Pro Tools down to the minute detail. Very comprehensive videos teach you at your own pace to run Pro Tools 9(any version) like any Professional Music Engineer. Prices are very low, reply to comment for info.

  • I have POD farm 2.5 and an line 6 UX1, will i be able to use those to record in pro tools?

  • Avid Pisses me off i Bought Pro tools 9 okay it only work with Windows 7& mac so i had to Buy Windows 7 okay now it donest let me open it up Now i need a fuckin ilok ight i bought tha dam ilok now i need a fuckin Mbox Serial number to activated it Wtf man i Bought tha mbox& thiz BITCH still Doest OPEN

  • there's no Free download if you wanna get Pro Tools 9 Cheap Goo to Ebay i Got pro tools 9 Brand new for $125 instead of Paying $600 Pro Tools 9 ONLY Works With Windows 7&Mac not vista or Xp

  • Doesnt work for vista or anything older than Windows 7

  • I'm looking at getting into Pro Tools. What would people recommend I start with? Can you record directly into the computer using a microphone? Does this package come with both hardware and software?

  • But this video sucks.. i mean they just talk its great and comfortable but they dont say why .. you dont show any features and how it works..

  • It sucks because its on mac only...

  • lets get rid of the stupid ilok please!!!!!!!! this video lies when theres more freedom, yeah i can use whatever interface i want, but i still need a ilok. so stupid.

  • can anyone tell me where i can download pro tools 9 for free? i really need it badly :( please

  • @reantkent There is no free trial of Pro Tools 9. But, have you seen the Pro Tools bundles on the Avid Store? There are several very affordable ways to begin working with Pro Tools 9 right now. Also, eligible students can purchase Pro Tools 9 Academic for $295 USD.

  • @avid use torrent lol

  • @reantkent buy it...

  • @reantkent a little mouse told me if you search on google for "pro tools 9 torrent" they might have a little surprise for you.

  • can you use PT9 with a 3th part audio interface or only with Avid’s?

  • @coporofrito Both! Pro Tools 9 supports Core Audio and ASIO drivers. Learn more on Avid.com / ProTools

  • Santa? Is that you?

  • VSTs Please ?

  • Lol, so now Pro Tools does what most DAWs have been doing? D:

  • its very simply... 64 bits, run in w7 ultimate, i7 processor, 16gb ram 1666, 10 tb for record HD audio, and 2 monitors 21" 1080p 240 hz... its so easy and looks perfeclty !!

  • why using a bunch of loosers as testimonials???

  • 17 people use cubase

  • Comment removed

  • @80smetalchild LMFAO!!!!

  • Pro tools eats your computer power even if you have a good processors and lots of ram.

  • Is there any pro tools or programs that doesn't require any plugins or equipments where I can just download it and do it on the computer. I have windows by the way.

  • "pro tools has always had the best sound quality" haha, wtf does that even mean?

  • Protools has gone on the bad side. They must have made a deal with microsoft to come up with Protools 9 and not make it work with any other OP system like XP.

    So buy protools 9 = money $

To get it to work buy windows 7= more money $

Or keep the protools I have now and not worrie about moving up in the world of recording.

I hope that Avid would be able to see that if they made there products compatibility good for all system they might get more sales.

  • Biggest marketting fail ever!

  • I just got a computer with Windows 7 64-bit from HP and a wanted to know if i can run Pro Tools 9 with it. It has a AMD Phenom II X6 (6 cores) 2.7 GHz Processor and it has 8gb of RAM

  • i just hate to hear the "industry standard" thing.. coz there isn't..

music is supposed to be fun.. and creating music is an art...

  • Congrats Avid, you invented Logic. Good job.

  • @charliedrummer03 you need to install a driver for it to work. You can get it for free if you google asio4all and just download it for free from that site. It should work then. You might have to restart you laptop first I cant remember. The same thing happened to me the other day.

  • I have been a pro tools user for a very long time, it gives pretty much a very transparent mix. But after pro tools 7.4 the interface just seemed abit messy. There's a reason why you need the expensive digidesign hardware, because the native sound hardware cannot produce the same quality. Well thats just my two cents:)

  • Haha... i think i will stay with Ableton......

  • Show me something in the program doing something, instead some produceres i ever heard of, selling out.

  • In all fairness it could easily become really great but this hype is just exactly that... it is sound as a pound on basic audio but it is so behind Logic and Cubase and Ableton and... whatever for midi. Wouldn't touch it still for any midi use... my honest unbiased opinion. Pro Tools 1995-2010 RIP but perhaps they have a necromancer who can resurrect it for me.

  • Midi is still absolutely hopeless! Try something really really really basic like dragging one midi region over another... oh dear it can't even play overlapping midi regions... and this interface thing was forced upon them... users must have been dropping Pro Tools in droves... I did... switched it on the other day and was quickly reminded of how ancient it is!

  • Woah, woah, woah, woah, there's no 64 Bit version? Then fuck it, I'm getting Sonar X1 Producer.

  • @Siike92 Pro Tools 9 is 64-bit compatible.

  • Comment removed

  • @avid It 64 bit Compatible Avid Not a 64 Bit Build ! Get on the Ball !

  • @avid

its 64-bit compatible BUT its not true 64-bit because it doesnt take advantage of more than 4GBS of memory.

  • @avid 64 bit compatible does not mean it is 64 bit :)

  • @Siike92 Yeah, like it's the exact same thing... LOL

  • "Open yourself to the Possibilties"

  • Oh wow you can load the software without their expensive overblown hardware plugged in at the same time!!! Oh wait you still need a little iLok. These guys take cues from Microsoft I think. And no that's not a good thing.

  • OH YEAH DID YOU FORGET TO MENTION -

it only works on Windows 7 & OS X Snow Leopard????

  • @TheAwesomeBlossom it will work on leopard too bud

  • they got a bunch of nobodies to talk

  • Comment removed

  • this is funny they made this shit video that makes you say WOW abaut a tiny shhity thing whit tiny shity composers i think the cubase engineers are lafing hard

  • Comment removed

  • you still have to use the fucking ilok for it? WTF!!!!

  • Im Sorry But I completely agree with " Delicieuxz " Pro Tools you are extraordinarily late to the scene, Now That being said If we're on this pager Most Likely most of us (Me included) are Pro Tools users. Now "That " Being said Yeah The new updates are cool, Yeah Heat Is Great, but guess what your missing now.....A 64 BIT Version (Not 64 bit support) !!!! Come On Jeez catch up with the world already WE WANT TO USE ALL OUR RAM!!! Thumbs up Maybe Avid will get off their $#%^ and Listen !

  • is pro tools better than fl studio 9

  • @81RichYung by far it is

  • Хорошая программа

  • Comment removed

  • Question! I have a Presonus Firestudio Project and I'm really interested in buying Pro Tools 9, I know PT9 is supposed to work with all interfaces, but I'm really doubtful, does PT9 work with my Presonus Firestudio Project?

  • and alot of pros do use this its a no fuckin brainer if u still to fuckin dumb ta realize it google dat shit lol

  • pro tools is the shit muh fuckas need stop hattin but in the end its all about your own mixing skills i personally can make a song still sound good even in the shitest program anyway every major studio has pro tools it just is what it is some people just realize it looks better nd more new age then them shitty ass steinburg programs u learn in the life the more money u spend on something the better quality u get so stop! bein Fuckin! broke nd get ya grind on Haterz lol

  • does any one know if pro tools work with non intel imacs

  • Pro tools is still the industry standard, because it is the best for audio recording. But I use a lot of softsynths, and this has such a lack of instruments on here.. I prefer things like logic, and reason, but I will definitely say that I have always loved pro tools, and that it will always be my favorite for audio recording

  • WELL ! ! AT LAST AVID ! ! ! AT LAST !!!! GOD ! YOU HAD TO WAIT ALL THIS YEARS TO CONVERT PRO TOOLS INTO A SINGLE POWERFUL PROGRAM WITH HARDWARE INDEPENDENCE!!! GOOD FOR YOU BUT TOO LATE MY FRIEND

  • Comment removed

  • You gotta admit, avid does have a good marketing team. Promoting delay compensation and hardware independence as something miraculous is no joke.

  • i was thinking of buying pro tools full version 9 software..after all is great for editing, and now i can use it with my ensemble ;).. but damn!.. with the instruments expand pack it costs $898

logic pro costs $394 the whole thing!

    greedy is your worst sin!

    amen!

  • Pro tools is the shitttttt !! I have no cluee what these other little lames are talking about. Pro tools is what the Proffesionals use. NO JOKE

  • @LXONTHETRACK and how would you know what pros use? cause you saw a video with timbaland tracking into it? lol, im betting youve gor reason rewired thru PT too, cause thats what 'they' do.... lol ur music is dated like the software you use.

  • my theory is this, as time goes by all DAWs are copying each other features, all right, we all know that, when pro tools 16 and logic pro 16 come out in the market in 2020 or something, they will be the same thing. However, Logic will be better cause is made by apple the same company as your OS and computer, so that means a lot. we all hate all those protools upgrades and annoying moments trying to match the computers' OS with the right protools version, that will be a forever issue with protools

  • i am grabbing this right.... about..... now......... soaked up all of PT8 now time to upgrade for updates

  • All the opinions.. But one thing that is fact. Protools is the Industry standard!! Two, we are over which is better, but they all make millions of dollars. At the end of the day your logic and suggestions are just opinions. Oh yeah i do rock out with Protools 8 and I wont be upgrading no time soon..

  • ALL YOU NEED IS AN ILOK??? DO U EVEN KNOW THAT I CAN START STARCRAFT2 WITHOUT ANYTHING??? ONLY A COMPUTER, FUCK PROTOOLS

  • @Jubiejai I didnt realize Starcraft 2 was a professional recording program.......................ha

  • @Jubiejai Facepalm of the week!!!

  • INSTEAD OF PAYIN FOR THIS U KAN GET AN AUDIO TECHNICA AT2020 COOL EDIT PRO OR PRO TOOLS RECORDING STUDIO, XENYX 502, A GOOD VOCAL BOOTH AND U KAN HAVE AMAZING SOUND, BUT IF U KANT AFFORD DAT, JUST GET COOL EDIT PRO AND AUDIO TECHNICA AT2020 AND U WILL NE AMAZED. I HAVE ALL THAT EXCEPT FOR THA PRO TOOLS AND THAT MIC, I HAVE COOL EDIT AND MXL 990 BUT UPGRADIN TO AUDIO TECHNCA AT2020 WEDNESDAY....!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I have been using protools since 2001 and the only real big deal here is being able to ditch your i/o and mix on the go with out carrying around a bulky interface. Also you can use other interfaces besides digidesign or avid. This is all cool but like other people have said it does not sound any better than any other recording software out there! It all depends on the quality of your interface and how well that unit handles AD/DA conversion. I use Apogee Rosetta 200 and LAVRY DA10 for conversion

  • SONY ACID PRO 8 WILL BEAT PRO TOOLS 9 OUT THE MARKET 2011

  • The reason why people say pro tools aint shit, because they are crack babies, and are confined to elementary programs such as fl 9 xxl. yes stick to the same old sounds. Preferably propellerheads Reason 5 and Record is the shit !!! and Pro tools on the project mix, now thats the formula !!!

  • Next it will be able to make coffee too and that will somehow make your music better. If your sound was crappy before this won't change a thing.

  • Pro Tools is used by the vast majority of working professionals, sorry for those that call it POS, it does have its shitty moments, but in the professional word you don't have time to fuck with hoping different software are compatible with whoever you're working with. I come from working with post sound in big budget features, where Pro Tools is the standard medium, there is no time for the other bullshit. As for the "sounds better" hype, yes.. it's aimed at the uneducated.

  • I don't think that is ground breaking in anyway. All major daws have had delay compensation for many years, some thing which is basic. (Mp3) Most daws works with third party hardware. The fact that is so blatantly visible is that avid have been loosing market shares now they are playing catch up. The new bread of producers do not want to be tired down. I am one. So all this is just hype to promote a product. Unfortuately for avid some of us know this things for years. No more cash cow. no more

  • Avid Pro Tools 9 is only for mac osx?

  • logic or pro tools??

  • @Apomustimusic i would go logic you get more for the buck. Now you must have apple os. It will not work on pc.

  • @Apomustimusic i would go logic you get more for the buck. Now you must have apple os. It will not work on pc. But my favorite is cubase and fl studio rewired used as a simpler. Great.

  • @deppam i use cubase 5, fl studio and reason. but i want a logic or a pro tools, but thanks for help..

  • so funny how everyone defends their DAW of choice. the truth is ALL DAW's do the same thing. quality sound comes from hardware, but more importantly the quality comes from us....the engineers, whether you have a 90,000 SSL console or a 400 presonus interface. now, everybody, lets get back to making music!

  • I really laugh at this advert. "Everyone keeps coming out with products that try to beat the bar that Avid sets" - er, no, Avid are having to release this to beat the bar all the other DAWs set years ago. There's a few bits in PT I like, but then I still end up thinking "why can't I monitor this RTAS while record-enabled?" or "why the hell does it have to make a region for every little thing?" and I can't help feeling I'd have got more done in cubase. Let's hope PT9 solves some of these issues.

  • What recording program would people recommend? Just for recording instruments and doing MIDI work on the computer and making tunes on the computer, basically anything, any style, type of recording, really broad. Can anybody help me?

  • Ha love all you morons saying stoopid crap about stuff you know nuthin about. PT is the pinnacle DAW, no-one knows why but its just the way it is, go with it. Except all of a sudden youre not forced to use their overpriced (relatively) hardware to use it, neither are you forced to buy lower quality interfaces with the LE bs - its open slather. I have had a cranesong spider for a while, and just got an apogee symphony i/o, and I wasnt looking forward to Logic. PT 9 YAY FOR ME!!!!!!!! Wikkid.

  • @quarkmuffin37 i love it when idiots speak shit they nothing about to... like.... "PT is the pinnacle DAW, no-one knows why but its just the way it is" u mug, its software, its programmed, smart people know this, its not some magical happening inside that no one can understand... what u gonna do with ur apogee..? record crappy guitar thru it along to pro tools pre made drum loops...? u go with it, like all the others making shit tunes.

  • so is this now compatible with all interfaces

  • @100010011100 Hey man, seriously is it really necessary to curse me out like this man? Come on dude. I don't disagree with you or anything you know. Secondly I buy my things dude. Don't assume anything.

  • @100010011100

Obviously, you are a disgruntled customer, the program locked up on your piece of shit computer, or you downloaded cracked torrents now it won't work, so you come here to abuse us to escape the inevitable realisation that you are nothing but a dried up, sore loser who can't figure out how to use Pro Tools.

  • @100010011100 Seriously man, I don't think I deserve this from you. Besides what Avid Digidesign ever done to you?

  • @100010011100 Why not have both the outboard gear and the software right?

  • @100010011100

    You didn't read my post.

    I don't have HD, or a card. I have a 003 rack.

And calm down, there is no need to get all teary and emo talking about nothing on a pro tools video.

  • @100010011100

What bar? It isn't news that said bar was set 15 years ago by other companies, that only now, 15 or more years later, Avid has finally incorporated. As other people put it, "late to the party", and it's not even fashionably late, its rocking up to the party when all the grog is gone, and everyone has either left, or passed out. Just some chips and dip left over, and a trashed house. At least they made it.

  • dont know, I think these guys are just bad actors

  • Hmm, now i wonder, out of all these comments about Pro Tools beaing so bad, how many of you guys are recording acoustic guitars, acoustic drums and acoustic pianos? I bet the majority of you are dubstep/drum ´n bass (whatever you want to call it) guys, and yes if that's what you're after, then logic might be a better option for you.

But Pro Tools is NOT a bad software!

  • @nofyt The software is a % of what makes PT "bad" to some. It's former proprietary nature and "charge you for everything" is what leaves a nasty taste. They limited software features...track count, Mp3 conversion, ReWire(a nightmare in v7), while with other companies these features are a given. For people who know better, HD is too expensive and LE was too limited. I stopped using PT with 7.4. Now look, 8 hasn't been around for a good year & 6mos and now they want everyone to "upgrade" to v9.

  • Pro Tools: late to the party

It's hilarious that this ad is hyping features that have long been standard in other DAWs, and acting as if they're something new and exciting, and even, unbelievably, refers to these catch-up implementations as "revolutionary".

Shame on you, Avid, for saying at the end of the video that other products try to match the bar that Avid sets... when all these features listed in this ad are merely Avid attempting to match the bar that others have set, that Avid has missed

  • @delicieuxz Sounds much like Apple's commercial for the Iphone 4 :)

  • @delicieuxz i find it funny how they Avis sets the bar but when they had thier video editing software it got shot down by FINAL CUT PRO!!!!!! hahahaha they set the bar my ass!

  • This is really cool - I will defiantly be upgrading to Pro Tools 9!

  • Overly modest.....same advertising lama's on a different version of protools !! No homo

  • @SmokedOutTV ... and im guessing all u do is record into it like a multitrack tape machine....

  • ok so i have an alesis io2 sound card and an mbox mini that came with pro tools le7!!..... can i use my alesis with pro toolz 9 without the ilok usb smart key and can i use my mbox mini with pro toolz 9 with out the ilok usb smart key(not at the same time i jus wanna know if i can get protoolz 9 and skip having a ilok usb smart key)????

  • @isreal95

No. Pro Tools 9 will NOT launch if you do not have an iLok with a license for pt9, connected to your computer.

  • @chuckawobbly damn thats so weak

  • I've used Protools (HD003) and Logic 9 (Apogee Ensemble). This is exciting news for people who don't want the AVID hardware. I honestly think protools sounds smoother for mixes. It's MIDI capabilities are not quite as nice as Logics' and it doesn't appear to mention any major MIDI upgrades in this video. I will most likely still write in Logic, import into Protools and mixdown/master there. It just sounds better for mixing.I understand the theory about software is software, but it's night & day.

  • ok what is ilok ive seen it before but what is it exactly and 2 i kinda think this may be the most un-beginner friendly pro tools yet?

  • @andrben

vbeen using logic since v5 and I have to say that it gets soo slow these days

Protools has no latency at all..AT ALL

plus i think it sounds bit different..

  • I have to get this asap. Basically a Pro tools HD for your home. Thats great. People can talk shit about pro tools all they want and talk about how weak it is, but there's a reason why this is the industry standard program. It's all based on personal preference. I've worked on almost every program and pro tools is by far the best, then logic.

  • does PT9 allow VST's this time?

  • People who program music (synths and all that shit) use lower programs, Pro Tools is for real musicians playing real music recorded by real engineers!! you get out of Pro Tools what you put in, iv used Cubase, Logic, and Reaper, Pro Tools drounds them all, but you need to spend on you I/O, like i say you get out what you put in. 9 looks awesome!

  • Sick

  • Do you need an m-box?

  • @TheSmoothoperator95 That's one of the things they finally stopped being stupid with. No more interface restrictions. You can use what you like

  • :056 old studio i worked at!

  • hot stuff...9 is awesome....

  • they couldn't get less weird looking people to endorse their product? unibrow? yellow eye shadow? ugly Hipster dude? c'mon lol.

  • they should have been did this!!! their late as shit. they had no choice bcuz other softwares were competing with them. Bout Time Pro Tools!!!! SMH

  • So does LE have Delay Compensation like the G5 HD paperweight I have?

  • software does not convert audio! ad da is done in the sound card.. the only thing that affects software sound or engine as people like to say is the way it processes plugins.... dont be fooled by hype. pro tool is a piece of shit, they only managed in the last version to include soft synths!! in 2010!!... its got the worst work flow ive ever experienced, u have to stop playing everytime u want to do something, looping is a dissaster. .... oh wait look at it again.... its a piece of shit!

  • @dunking4chips i have worked with pro tools, logic, and cubase, pro tools is not shit. its the best program to edit audie tracks, if you looking for a program to make loops and edit midi, with good synth go fore ligic. but recording, like aukustic drums, pro tools is awsume! (sorry for bad english)

  • @dunking4chips I'm not a Pro tools hater. It's not a piece of shit, but also not as good as they claim it is. I totally agree on the workflow. The speed on which I complete songs has been ultra low since using Pro Tools. I like the sound but as a sequencer it still has a lot to catch up.

But....I am exited about this change. I think it's a new beginning. Let's hope more will come

  • @dunking4chips ok well what daw do u suggest?

  • @isreal95 ... what is it u do? if u create music, ableton all the way, if u want to multitrack record, logic or cubase... why go for a company who originally made hardware and have spent the last 10 years catching up and taking ideas from the others guys.. if anyone has actually edited and tried extensive remixing on PT, youll know its a total pain. Everyone who likes PT, does basic multitrack recording and mixing.....

  • @dunking4chips oh yea i use cubase now....

  • @dunking4chips agreed. what a pile of bollucks! pro tools should die.

  • @dunking4chips not true. You can do almost everything while the song is playing. And soft synths are included in PT LE so not sure what you're talking about there.

Don't get mad cause your little head can't understand Pro Tools. Leave it to the Pros.

  • @Youexposed1 ye, u big pro, recording yer cheesy guitar riffs while walking around yer garden, cause u dont need ears anymore with PT9, ,it has a button u can press that will make u believe ur creative.......

  • @dunking4chips WTF?? recording in a garden? Who?

Who the fuck said PT9 has a button that makes you believe you're creative?

All I said was that you can do almost everything while the song is playing. And you come up with this nonsensical BS comment?? WTF is wrong with you?

  • @Youexposed1 ye, you make ur mickey mouse remix in PT9? sounds about right, real pro. my little head can use all software and hardware, cause im an engineer and producer and its my job, go back to disney land, i think donald duck is waiting for you there, with a heat button.

  • @dunking4chips Geez how old are you?? You sound like a close minded fuckface.

I don't give a shit who you are. If you're really a producer and engineer why the hell are you bashing an industry standard like some immature fanboy?

  • @Youexposed1 hahah, close minded fuckface, says he, who remixes disney tracks, how old am i, prob older than you by the immaturity of ur music... industry standard my arse, maybe 10 years ago, wake up.... uve been exposed....

  • @dunking4chips How many recording studios have you been to? And if I get hired by Disney how wouls that be a bad thing? I never hated on Logic so why you hating on the MILLIONS of people using Pro Tools Now? Is it because you're too stupid to work the program?

  • @Youexposed1 oh disney boi is back after 2 months for more... what, u made a donald duck remix now? i doubt ver much ur hired by disney you goof. keep tracking in PT, thats why ur music is shit. if u ever tried any of the other programs ud realise how sh1t Pro Stools is, but wait, u dont know any better, so u think u can mouth of BS on here.. hold on, i think i can hear mickey mouse calling you his bitch...

  • @dunking4chips oh geez dude its like arguing with a kid but its so fun. I HAVE tracked in plenty of programs PT, Sonar, Cubase, Reason, Logic, Garage Band, Record etc. I, just like millions of others prefer PT. GET OVER IT.

P.S. I feel sorry for you if you think Mickey Mouse is real.

  • im not impressed

  • guitwizz your obviusly not a sound enginneer because your remark shows just how dumb you are lol..yes mic pre amps..etc factor into how sound is recorded into the software but its the software that converts the sound from ok quality too pro quality.

ive been a studio enginnee for years and we use neve preamps..etc and if your recording straight too tape you get what goes threw the preamps but if you record into pro tools pt contains convertors that can make a shitty preamp sound good.
