I thought I had heard it all about vaccines but I was absolutely blown away when Katie said that she had to stop a doctor from giving her mom a flu vaccine when she was in the hospital, permanently disabled by... a flu vaccine. And she said this happened more than once. I'm at a total loss to understand this. And I do not believe for one second that no one has time to report vaccine injuries. You see Katie would know that if she was truly at the hospital when Joan was sick. It took her 3 weeks to visit her mother because she was helping her husband recover from simple foot surgery. The beechers are con artists and you will see they will serve jail time for what they have done to Joan.

@karatekla The nerve problem happened because of the flu shot. At the time a bad batch came out and the CDC covered it up. A record number of cases happened at the beginning of 2009. What caused the stroke was the IVIG. She should have never been given IVIG to help with the symptoms of Guillean barre. The doctors at Yale should have done Plasma Pheresis instead but unfortunately they didn't. If she was never given IVIG she would have eventually recovered from the damage.

People NEED TO KNOW that these shots can be very dangerous. And the responsibility for informing the population falls on the pharmaceutical companies and their distributors: physicians, nurses, and pharmacies. Instead, all they do is ADVERTISE them.

@voltairefamily She gave informed consent, everyone does when they get the flu shot. This happens more than you know but most people overcome it within a year or two. The problem was the drug IVIG. You see Katie would know that if she was truly at the hospital when Joan was sick. It took her 3 weeks to visit her mother because she was helping her husband recover from simple foot surgery. The beechers are con artists and you will see they will serve jail time for what they have done to Joan.

I had a flu shot three years ago -- first one I ever had in my life. The next day I started having heart palpitations that did not let up for THREE WEEKS straight --morning, noon and night -- it was the scariest thing I ever experienced. I had to wear a heart monitor for a week. I never experienced anything like that in my life before or since and I'm convinced it was NOT a coincidence. I will never have another flu shot again as long as I live!

this very same thing happened to my mother as a result from her flu shot. although my mother was sick / disabled for about one year, she did recover. we were lucky that she recovered.

My doctor insisted I get a flu shot once and I ended up getting the flu it was supposed to be protecting me from and I had it most of the winter....was never so incredibly sick! Why don't doctors explain the risks? Flu vaccines are BIG money....pharmaceuticals are big money. Our bodies are not trash cans for money-making. People should not have their trust betrayed in this way. It is sickening.

@karatekla The nerve problem happened because of the flu shot. At the time a bad batch came out and the CDC covered it up. A record number of cases happened at the beginning of 2009. What caused the stroke was the IVIG. She should have never been given IVIG to help with the symptoms of Guillean barre. The doctors at Yale should have done Plasma Pheresis instead but unfortunately they didn't. If she was never given IVIG she would have eventually recovered from the damage.
