Hola :)

It doesn't really matter. It depends. I think in this video I've used 800x600, but if you want to make a banner you should use a smaller size, for example 200x90 or something similar.

there is a font on all computers called old english text or something like that. It's the same as the san andreas letters.

There's a "button" below the text tool, which is indicated with a letter "T". Look over there and you might find the custom shape tool by pressing the tiny "arrow" in the right bottom corner of the "button", which is below the "T"(text tool)
