this laptops is the fastest laptop for the price as well as a gaming machine, also this laptop looks by far, better than any other laptop even the most expensive ones. This one is an older model though, i personally have the one with the i7-960, 6gb gddr3 ram, and ati 4890 gpu, 640gb 7200 rpm hdd which I got for 1500.

you can't get sony vaio fw with that specs , maybe you are talking about the new Sony vaio F which looks like crap compared to the beutiful sony vaio fw , but the f version got a i7 and that would be the only reason why a human being ever would purchase such an awful laptop

@Amiroxor Das Spiegeln liegt daran, dass das Display in dem Moment schwarz ist. Durch die Dual-X-Lamps ist das normale Bild sehr hell und strahlt das Glossy Display quasi weg. ;) Die Dual's gibt's aber leider nur bei FullHD Display. Die neuen Versionen des Notebooks mit HD4650 etc. sind auf jedenfall zu empfehlen.

Ich fand's einfach schrecklich, dass Websites links und rechts 10km Rand haben, weil sie z.B. nur 1024px breit sind. Dazu kommt, dass die Schrift auf einem Display in der Größe unter FullHD einfach viel zu klein ist, klar ist es zum Arbeiten gut Platz auf dem Display zu haben, aber wenn mir die Augen nach einer halben Stunde weh tun habe ich davon auch nichts. ;) Da finde ich mein aktuelles Notebook viel besser, dazu findest du auch ein kurzes Video in meinem Channel.

It's better than a LED display, trust me. Since Sony has kinda it's own technology with dual x-lamp technology the screen looks very good.

It's better than most of the current LED displays. I've seen the difference when I had this one and a friends one with LED technology beside it. The colors of the Sony Vaio are much better. Notice that the dual-lamp technology of the sony is just included by fullHD resolution - 1920x1080.

I have one like this. Although Sony says it's magnesium, it's not like MacBook-metal. (Of course not, coz that's aluminium..LOL) It sounds like plastic when I knock it. To avoid surprise you should check it for real in some store first. Do not misunderstand! :) It is an AWESOME laptop! I unequivocally recommend. :)
