If you want big and loud, go with 5 inch. mine is 4, but its plenty loud for me. I have heard that 5 inch isnt required til you reach the 550-600 hp threshold. but 5 is definitely louder than four. If you want smoke, get a tuner. I would suggest the DP tuner, which is what i have in the video. Of course with a tuner, a set of gauges are always highly suggested to protect your engine and tranny along with an upgraded air intake. you can get a nice cheap intake a riff raff diesel site for $80.
i have the 2001 f250 7.3L turbo diesel and am lookiing into exhaust systems but idk what to do my truck is stock and i want something big and LOUD and deff the smoke coming out of it any suggestions
I have the 6637 heavy equipment air filter mod on mine. Just do a search on Ford truck enthusiasts forum #31. I tried to find a link but the internet is fuckin slow as shit here in Afghanistan.
The down pipe is the one that came with the MBRP exhaust kit. And its the stock turbo.
Thanks. They are wearing quite well. I have about 15,000 miles on em right now and they have about 3/4 to 2/3 tread left. They are crowning a bit, but thats cause they are 12.5 wide tires on a stock 7.5 wheel. Very happy with the traction as well.
Yes, they rub at full lock on my leaf springs. I had to trim just a little bit of my front bumper valence piece. I also used some bailing wire to pull the rear section of my fender liner away from my tire
thats awesome man... real nice

Nice, same color as my F250. I'm looking into straight piping mine and getting a tuner. Any tips on which tuner to get? Late 99 7.3

Sounds awesome. Best sounding 7.3 I've ever heard.
How are the duratracs wearing under the heavy truck?

I didnt install it. It was installed at 4wheelparts in dallas before i bought it. I have heard it can be a pain though.

Nice, i'd like to get 315's. currently running Michelin LTX 265's. Was the level kit a pain in the ass to install? Where did you get it?

No lift. Its just an F350 with a leveling kit. The tires are 315/75/16. Close to a 35.
