Largely hidden from view, every year over 9 billion chickens and 250 million turkeys are raised on factory farms and killed in our nation's slaughterhouses. Their suffering often goes unseen and their cries unheard - until now.
@Diego32akaD21 Were you picked on as a kid? I'm sorry you feel the need to lash out verbally against people who speak the truth to make the earth a beautiful, restored Garden & place of peace. It must be hard to look at yourself in the mirror after watching sentient beings with the same pain capacity as you do, suffer, & feel like you're not strong enough to follow the path of peace. You can stand up in the defense of those who can't defend themselves. Redirected anger: it's a defense mechanism.
@aeriarose I'm sorry if you were offended by my comment. I just was using your own words? In any case I will continue to eat my turkey. Regardless though your posting your opinions first of all on youtube, and second your posting them on a video explaining how to season a turkey, so if you thought everyone was just going to stop cooking their bird and give you praise, than you are rather naive. In any case good luck in your field of work and I hope you make strides with animal abuse.
@aeriarose Do you really believe anyone on this page gives a fuck what you're saying?, Go fuck yourself and let us enjoy our holiday turkeys....Oh and Merry Christmas you asshole you...
"I asked my seven-year-old son Aedan if there was a gentle way to harm someone, and he laughed at me, as if surprised to be asked such a silly question. When you think about it, the notion of harming anyone in a "humane" way is ridiculous, and just as impossible as it sounds. There is no polite way to harm someone else, no gentle way to inflict pain, and absolutely no way to "humanely" take someone's life." (This includes the turkey. Continued...)
(continued) ...What has already taken me many words to articulate, my seven year old son Aedan summed up in three words: "It is wrong." I think we all know deep within our hearts that it is wrong, but we have all been taught to perceive that wrong as something acceptable or necessary, so we somehow justify our involvement or endorsement of it." -Cayce Mell
"It makes no difference to the turkeys whether their dead bodies are roasted whole or processed into paste, even less than it matters to me whether my corpse will be buried or cremated. Respect for the corpse is a very poor substitute for respect for the being. Both I and the turkeys would rather live out our natural lives -- nothing that fails to respect that, regardless of how we might be killed or what happens to the corpse afterward, is humane." -Tom Swiss
@slaydz765 Alton brown says brine for 6 to 16 hours im following his recipe i started today!!! sugar, salt, pepper, crushed red pepper, and stuffing it with apple, cinnamion, onion!!! try it gonna be great
hello there, i have a question, if i brine a turkey, do i have still have to season it? or if i just season the bird would i not have to brine? or do i do both procedures.
Once you have brined the turkey for a couple of days take it out of the brine, dry it with a towel, stuff and roast. OR you can take turkey out of brine, let sit in fridge over night, lightly covered with towels or foil then stuff the next day and roast. Either way make sure the turkey and stuffing are at room temperature before stuffing and before roasting.

Can someone please reply quickly...
How did she get the turkey to be wet so that the salt doesn;t fall off?
did she add oil or butter on it?
