  • thanks for the video. lots of things to learn from other's crashes.

  • that wasnt nessesarry though...

  • Notice which way the streamers are blowing at00:10. Ya need wind coming at ya dummie. And more brake!

  • man u have to stop and look at ur glider before u decide to rn and fly...

  • ..péssima decolagem e nem checou a vela na cabeça.... na fome de voar foi comer capim e pagar caro pela burrice!! Tá loco...

  • Oh my god. Thats the badest German I ve ever heard. And I am German. He said Ballon to the glider

  • thats the coolest and funniest vocable i have ever heard! therefore i love this vid!

  • Well you might be german but interestingly enough in other parts of the world other kinds of german are spoken e.g. switzerland and austria. its called a vernacular you retard

  • LOL!

  • It looks like the pilot needs kitting and small training hill.

  • Nice scene !!

Look for the clip "arborizada" on my videos. Its a soft crash on the trees at the take off, filmed from the helmet cam.

There is also one of me "landing" in the sea after skydiving... "amerrisagem" :-)

  • oh nea

  • If you don't know fly, don't fly, you do bad all, start, run, launch, a

  • Not enough brake on take-off and the wing overflew him. Worst of all he jumped. Been there myself though, and I've had a couple of excursions through the bushes too! All part of the learning curve :0/

  • Looks to me like the dude stopped moving forward as he looked up at his wing and it just flew right past him then he started running again, by this time the glider was in front of him.

  • What do you learn from this lession? Don't use glider places ...

  • lol german dude get owned.

  • lol, wienen rote wetter ballon siesch us lool, i lach mi schief :-) welli flugschuel isch dass?

  • Perfect ending. The loooong walk of shame :)

  • Hehe, I agree buddy. He looked pretty embarased

  • Aqui no Brasil chamamos de braço curto ou mão de foca. Deixou a vela passar e se jogou no buraco.

  • Oh Nein!!!! punter, hahaha

  • The glider has overshot you (I've done this plenty of times), on a short run you're best to abort and spend a couple of mins unwrapping yourself from the wing and setting up again. Also never jump - unload the wing like that at takeoff and things can get very messy.

  • According to the lower streamers, there is a cross-wind from the right and you step the wrong way to the left of center. Lots going on here but mainly the position of take-off in relation to the wind are wrong in my opinion. Always take-off into wind however light it may be and if I were you I would spend at least 2 full days ground handling in a field. Practice pulling up the glider at various angles to the wind and correcting. In this case I would have waited :-).

  • @loopplayer: I agree. In addition at the end of the Ramp was a small nail that tangled the outer lines of the glider.

  • if he didnt stop but kept running he would have launched
