  • Is this Bragg? I dont recognize the DZ

  • Knees in the breeze Jumpmaster!

  • future job right there, just tryin to get the feel of wat the fuck im goin to be doin

  • it's the most amazing feeling. To be in mid air, just hearing the wind

  • it looks so peaceful once you leave the seat, is it really that peaceful though? or do you have to keep an eye out and not really look at the view?

  • Sitting on the side of the black hawk looks scary =(

  • the unit patch on his shoulder..@blindreap3r..is the sf patch..(2nd Bn.10thSFG!!)

  • 13B Airborne Artillery Not just the King of Battle We're the damned Emperors! Hooah!

  • at 1:10 you can tell he says "oh yeah"

  • You dont have to be SF to jump a helicopter...

  • listen to that eagal scream!

  • that's some scary shit, no joke

  • OORAH!! wait that's marines i mean HOOAH!! or ho-hray! or ho-hah!! i don't know

  • HOOAH! 11B All the way. Also notice the patch on the guy's shoulders. 5th and 6th SF. (18X)

  • your a target for such a long time tho.

  • @yaitsmeBC at 1250 ft it takes about 45 sec to a min to hit the ground, that is if ur not stuck in a thermal, its not that long

  • Holy shit that was a quick opening. GOD I LOVE BLACKHAWK JUMPS!!!!!!

  • a slight ha ha at the end...jumps never get old

  • america fuck yeah

  • Duh - O.K. Posted on March 2007! lol

  • +1 on Malmsheim DZ. I'd say with the mismatch uniforms, about 2007ish. From the look of the leaf-less trees yet lack of snow or snivel gear, this is about March, in Germany. HMMWV ambulance and FMTV for a chute truck would be 1/10 SFG and I'd bet a lot of your money that ExNavy was a guest jumper from Unit 2. I like how you can hear the squealing tires from the Mercedes Benz test track in the background, too. Brings back memories...

  • @airborne1092 .. That "squealing tire" sound is the wind hitting his camera, lol...

  • @nschimke so thats how they make drift sounds for computer games :)

  • I don't think that you are going to make that little laugh when you land inside a warzone...

  • @snakequito Coming from someone who has never been in a warzone and probably never will.............

  • Its not a Division, These guys have long tabs. theyre a Special Forces group.

  • @johnnytorrance wats a tab?

  • Is there anyway to find out who the trooper nearest the rear of the door is? I am sure I have jumped with him. Any response is appreciated. Thank you.

  • what division is this?

  • @slyrez pause it at 1:38. US Army Special Forces.

  • @SCOARRangersairsoft no wonder they seem like...god this is boring lol

  • ahhh i wish i had soft landings and all my jumps i hit like a sack of bricks

  • Man I appreciate you loading this up, it brings back so many memories for me. I can actually feel the bird while sitting here watching your video. 24 of my 187 were from a UH1H. One of the guys in our unit was former SEAL as well.

    YOU HAVE MADE MY DAY.

    Former SSG 11SFGP

  • I have a bunch exits in my log book from helicopters, many at Knox and Cambell. These guys had SF patches on their shoulder--what group? Also, how did you attach your camera to your helmet? I am considering doing an old goat operation with some former SF guys I ran with and I want to get it on video. Yes, I know that 71 year olds should hang it up, but I am really looking forward to this last jump. SSG 11th SFGP

    AIRBORNE all the way!

  • What was the height you were floating down forever! My jobs usually last 45 seconds!

  • Haven't jumped from a Helicopter yet but looks cool. Ain't got shit on freefall! I love my job! Airborne

  • Looks like you caught the thermal. Makes for a nice landing.

  • lol wish all my landings were that soft. Airborne

  • just another day at the office

  • the reason why its quiet is because a camera cant really take the sound of helicopters. but it can with parachutes/falling air w/e. Because the parachute kinda makes u slow down making u not fall as fast.

  • Its weird how loud it is in he bird but 5 seconds after you jump its like tomb quiet

  • I got to jump from a huey. It was when I was at Ft. Lee Va. I got a Colonel's spot because he didn't make jump manifest so i was first jumper of my chalk. it was pretty sweet.

  • what was the altitude that you jumped?

  • is that really how quiet it is??..i thought he would be loud..my grandpa was a airborne ranger before he retired

  • the thing that sucks about my dad beinng a jump master is he cant fucking jump in FT.Benning GA. cuz i live in Hawaii

  • I jumped from these as well as CH 47's, C 130's and the old C 141.

Miss the fun!. 82nd all the way!

  • (PQDT BRASIL) the heel of you is much higher than ours here in Brazil ....

  • Memories, I jumped from UH1s, CH-47s, C-130s, and one of the last to jump from C-141 Starlifters. These SF boys must be bored with this jump.

  • agreed, MC-1's were great!

  • wow!!!!!!!. this brings back allot of memories. Last time I jumped was in Feb. 92. Sicily dz at Ft. Bragg, Most of my jumps where from C-130s. HHC , 37th Engr Bn. AIRBORNE ALL THE WAY!!!!!!

  • I sooo love mc1's

  • nothing like a chopper blast.what group are ya in. im with the 1-75 rangers in savanna.

  • See that neighborhood, it would be awesome if this was how they got home. Like land in their front lawn or something.

  • haha thats a good idea....save a lot of money not owning a car!!! but how would you get to work?

  • is that a blackhawk helicopter???

    thx

  • Amazing !

  • how old do you have to be to go into jump school?

  • now you just need to practice it while being fired at and your set

  • lol

  • I'm 13 and I'd love to become an paratropper when I get to that phase, but right now I'm not fit enough. I can't even do a pull up. I weigh around 155 -160. also can mexicans join the army because i happen to be one but i was born in the U.S and my parents were born in mexico. they will proberly make me run harder then the americans.LOL and also is jump school free.

  • then start preparing yourself, exercising and so on. everything is possible if you have enough willpower.

  • Comment removed

  • airborne army rangers? i want to be one, any requirements u know off the bat

  • yeah 5 mile run under 40 miin 6+ pull ups 43 push ups and and 60 sit ups minimum

  • hey Xxpokewangsta6xX well im just a private right out of basic im hispanic and im going to airborne school in june you could do whatever you want bro just make the right choices in life and yes airborne school is free as long as your in the military and they choose you to go to airborne school or your job requires that you go just because your mexican doesnt mean your limited to things you should be proud to be mexican...

  • Talk about a "blast from the past", a Blackhawk Blast that is! That is Malmsheim DZ. I've jumped that DZ many many many times while stationed with SOCEUR in the early 90's. Usually tailgates out of Chinooks but many Hollywoods out of Blackhawks like the video posted. The DZ was smaler then though, the area where the hangers are at was forest but the test track was still there. Thanks for the great video ExNavy!

  • I talked to a guy who did a static line jump from a balloon. It scared the crap out of him because there was no prop blast to blow his chute open. He fell what he thought forever before his chute opened. Heli jumps must be the same.

  • The laughter at the end - LOL

  • airborne all the way SF " Free the opressed" Those are my boys

  • Airbore all the way

  • Very good video, best UH-60 jump video I have seen! Them SF guys sure make it look easy!

  • i think these guys are 19th group

  • Would Airborne be a good thing for a person with a fear of heights?

  • Wow.

  • Yeah a bit drunk when I typed that.

  • Casa Jumps are the best

  • Blackhak jumps are the SHIT!!!

  • I jumped out of a Bradley a few times...

  • AHAHA very very good!

  • ...in combat.

  • WEll you didnt say that, I thought you were making a poor joke.

  • Finally got my tailgate chinook! CH-47 was by far the best jump I have ever done! I have jumped out of c-17s, c130s, uh-60s, and now a ch-47. AIRBORNE!

  • Should have fuzzed all the faces out OPSEC OPSEC OPSEC...just kidding. (at least one was a Green Beret).

  • Nice hang time, Bro. And, I'll take a -1 over a t10 any day.

  • Someone said they hate jumping -1's. I think its the way to go as long as you can face into the wind.

  • This is excellent photography. Takes me back to my Huey jump days.

  • is that easier than jumpin out of c-130's?

  • No, it sucks because you usually jump with -1 parachutes instead of the ol trusty t10's. I hate the -1's because you can only do a front PLF, and I suck at those. A t10 you can pull a slip and land on your side (way easier). But you only use t10's on the c17 and c130.

  • thats it. sign me up.

  • yea dude, dream job right there

  • im goin this fall : )

  • thats it. sign me up.

  • thats a special forces tab at 1:35 right?

it has to be awesome just floating down like that

  • Affirmative on the SF tab. Judging by the mismatched uniforms and the fact that they are jumping onto a farm and not a military DZ, I believe that this is a Reserve unit. Yes, it is awesome to be floating like that after you realize that your parachute has opened normally and that you are going to live.

  • That is Malmsheim DZ in Germany. And those SF jumpers would either be assigned to SOCEUR or 1/10th SFG. Patch Barracks is home to SOCEUR and Panzer Kaserne is home to 1/10th SFG and both are nearby. I've jumped that DZ myself many times whiles assigned to SOCEUR in the early 90's. Usually UH-47 tailgates but occasionally Blackhawk blasts. It's only an 8 second DZ

  • is this airborne recon i forgot what that leaf means

  • My first (and only) UH-60 jump SUCKED! Gimme the ol' C130 Hercules ANY day of the week over THAT!

But this guys had a LOT of hang time. Got caught in an updraft. Those are always fun to ride!

  • Actually, I liked chopper jumps, especially off the ramp of a Chinook. The best part of jumping from a Huey or a Blackhawk is the ride up, sitting in the open door with your legs hanging out.

  • I was supposed to get a tailgate Chinook jump, but they scratched it and replaced it with a c-130. Oh-well!

    -Jas

  • Ahhh, The good old days :-)

  • very nice land

  • nice land

  • When I serve in the military, I'm joining the paratroops.

  • wow just wow. In april i join the paras. i cant wait

  • wow!
