i dont like dogs with 2 colors, because when they are small they look cute but when they grow it doesn't look that good, so i rather get a solid color dog.
i have a pit bull and shes the sweetest thing in the world. people are scared of her when they see her and try and take their dogs away when really my poodle is so much more aggressive than she is, but they arent scared of him. people are really dumb. she is the most lovable thing wouldnt hurt anyone or any other dog. not even if she was provoked.. she would run before she'd hurt them. the only time i think she'd hurt someone is if they were attacking me. GOOD DOGS
they just need to exercise well starting from 5 or 6 months, daily walks r smthg and exercising them is anthr thing, u need to do both. as for feeding, its better not to feed them lots of dry food, go for the naturals better and best of luck as they r really adorable

You kept the right one. The other seem a little insecure and it take alot of work to get them out of it. I have a rednose that is insecure, she is better, but it is a life long condition. I still love her the same as if she was the perfect APBT.
Yea, this is Athena when she was just a little pup. You can already see that she had the most outgoing personality in the litter. She has grown to be such a sweet, playful dog, pretty much everything I could have asked for. She is an easy pit bull to bring out because she is so loving and gentle with everyone. The American Staffordshires are quite a bit larger than the standard Staffordshires. Staffies usually weigh around 35-45 pounds and AmStaffs are anywhere from 45-85 pounds. Not too sure of any other differences

Sorry if I offended you. Seeing those pups reminds me of how few make it not only to adulthood, but to a responsible owner that will love it forever. People with the best intentions surrender them or give them away. With only one in 600 getting adopted it is frustrating to see so many being born when there are perfect dogs dying. The board is comprised of some of the top rescuers in the US, trainers, lawyers, owners, vets, people who weight pull, show and a select handful of breeders. There is a great diversity of opinion, daily posts on proposed laws all around the country that will affect you as an owner- if bsl comes up, check the site.
I looked at these dogs adult and they look fine. I have no idea how you acquired them, if you bred them, whatever. I just don't think these dogs should be bred unless they are exemplary examples of the breed (or any dog) tempermant, all health tests and conformation. The poorly bred ones are taking over and the breed is suffering. The fearful and unstable dogs with health problems are common to rescues. On the web therealpitbull explains what is a good breeder and what is bad.
The forum i belong to pitbullforum has discussed the overbreeding.. many of them are from badrap (the rescue that took some Vick dogs) and include people who show, weight pull and rescue. the owner of the board wanted to breed his pit and found out about how overbred they were and decided to start the board to educate. People with good intentions are mostly to blame for the downfall of the breed. If people breed they should be impeccable representations b/c there are way too many badly bred.
I have fostered dogs and pit bulls and when they are placed by a rescue they get VERY thorough checks on the adopters vet, home, past pets and a home visit. They also must be breed educated about the traits and discrimination so they won't be shocked when they can't get homeowner's insurance, housing, etc... Now, if every breeder put the buyers thru that scrutiny it would be better b/c many people fall in love with pups but don't keep them thier whole life through. this breed especially.
they look like they are going to be way too big for breed standard. I wish people would keep them lean and small. Several vets have told me that they are breeding them poorly, like English bulldogs and have all kinds of joint problems.

I was just saying they look big and alot of the ones that end up too big look chunky when small. over here pit bulls are not recognised as a pedigree breed ,and are banned they have to be castrated and are under the dangerouse dog act,american staffs are a seperate breed based on our staff basicly for want of a better word a mongrel,a nice dog but not a staff in the true sense ,to big and to dangerouse and because pits are notoriouse for randome attacks ,they give our staffs a bad name ,oh it took years for k c to recognise a staff as a true breed so i guess same goes for amstaffs

Not at all, dogs are den animals and like to be in their crates if trained properly. You should never punish a dog and make it go into the crate, the crate should be their safe area. My dogs love their crates and go in there to take their naps or when they want time to themselves. The best thing you can do is to learn how to be a pack leader for your dogs and your dogs and you will enjoy a great life together

5 weeks is a bit too young to take pups from their mother. They don't develop proper "doggie manners" from the mom and littermates.

those puppies are absolutely georgeous, i have a female tan and white amstaff, and would like a boy blue nose amstaff, they are such a beautiful breed. anyway great video, beautiful puppies like that melt my heart :-)

Not at all, dogs are den animals and like to be in their crates if trained properly. You should never punish a dog and make it go into the crate, the crate should be their safe area. My dogs love their crates and go in there to take their naps or when they want time to themselves. The best thing you can do is to learn how to be a pack leader for your dogs and your dogs and you will enjoy a great life together

If you are referring to being a pack leader and the crate training, I learned that from the show as well as other dog training books I have read.

Yes, these dogs are just like any other dog if you raise them correctly. I would read some book about bully breeds and get yourself a good trainer.

I didnt no you could get blue staffs.. Im thinking of getting a staff or british bulldog but dont no if it'd be ok for so long on its own. so not sure wether toget one. but they look really nice tho.

Hope you both eventually at some time trip and land face first in their shit...you seem to be Mexican, latino, Puerto Rican,Spanish..you seem to fit the profile esp. since one is "low riding" to the ground...breed some flowers and sell them...maybe they will have a better fate...hopefully you have not bred yourselves yet and have no plans on doing so...STUPID PEOPLE should NOT breed
