@Hotshot922 well he joined the reborn emperor in the "Dark Empire" comic series but he was never a sith. He wanted to defeat the emperor with his own powers but, as always, thinks didn't go as planned. Ultimatley the emperor was defeated and the galaxy was saved. For the throusandt time.

@Hotshot922 The way he goes off on Vader at the end was very Dark Side. Luke realized what he was doing when he looked at his hand. It reminded him that he was becoming more like Vader. When he shuts down his saber he "goes back" towards the light side. Great moment IMO.
@myceejay I love how at the moment from "Jedi" when Luke does hesitate, the video adds all the moments in his life where he suffered loss and grief similar to Anakin's...but ultimately Luke chooses the light, has mercy, and forgives his father. The use of flashbacks in that moment + the music = The Force is Strong With This One!
This does have to be one of the best Star Wars videos made. I'm so happy they keep it up. I hit it like once a month to get my blood to boil and need to go watch Star War again

That's what you're thinking right? well look again. what is the flight down the Death Star trench if not a "duel" of sorts (their first one), pitting their piloting skills against one anotther. Those same skills being the thing that Obi Wan even noted as a similarity between them

Lucas, for all of the inovating he had done with the originals, lost that along the way, and just leaned on CGI like a crutch if not rode in it like a wheel chair
a true star wars fan is still waiting with great anticipation for a movie to be made showing Luke being truly bad-ass having reached his full potential like in the later books >.<

This was made in 1977-1983 overall. The effects are not like the prequels, but the originals had a superior storyline, much better acting. And the effects are not that bad even 30 years later. to be honest, I like the lightsabers blurring as they swing it.
@Amann0407 totally agree man. I actually prefer original trilogy space battles to newer ones. Because CGI is fancy and all, but it is still fake. The old ones were actual models so they just looked so much better in my opinion. Old Trilogy>new trilogy.
well that, and I dislike the lightsaber battles of the prequel trilogy, well maybe not the obi wan vs anakin one....but the reason I like the old ones is because it looks like swordsmen going at it instead of acrobats as if the Jedi were on strings...(probably were). you can see Luke and Vader dueling. It is brutal, intense, and it looks like they are fighting as swordsmen would fight in the medieval period. As Knights.
Very good.. very much captures the struggle between the two characters. To me though it seems like a Luke tribute. It captures his struggles throughout the series with his ultimate decision to not finish off Vader.
I still think "A Starwars Tribute" is better for summing up the whole sage 1-6 as a whole, buts this video definately does 4-6 good.

its not Two Towers, it has nothing to do with LotR, in fact it has a rather different style entirely from the LotR music.
It's Lux Aeterna which was part of the Requiem for a Dream soundtrack (Requiem for a Dream being a movie)

@rosebloodfaerie The actual name of the song is requiem for a dream (aka Lux Aeterna) ... by Clint Mansell . I got the whole thing in one part on itunes I think or limewire, in case you would like it all in one part.

This was made in 1977-1983 overall. The effects are not like the prequels, but the originals had a superior storyline, much better acting. And the effects are not that bad even 30 years later. to be honest, I like the lightsabers blurring as they swing it.

@Amann0407 totally agree man. I actually prefer original trilogy space battles to newer ones. Because CGI is fancy and all, but it is still fake. The old ones were actual models so they just looked so much better in my opinion. Old Trilogy>new trilogy.

well that, and I dislike the lightsaber battles of the prequel trilogy, well maybe not the obi wan vs anakin one....but the reason I like the old ones is because it looks like swordsmen going at it instead of acrobats as if the Jedi were on strings...(probably were). you can see Luke and Vader dueling. It is brutal, intense, and it looks like they are fighting as swordsmen would fight in the medieval period. As Knights.

Very good.. very much captures the struggle between the two characters. To me though it seems like a Luke tribute. It captures his struggles throughout the series with his ultimate decision to not finish off Vader.
I still think "A Starwars Tribute" is better for summing up the whole sage 1-6 as a whole, buts this video definately does 4-6 good.
