As for the comment about the Vietnam War... Have you ever read the reports and records from the communist military leaders? They wrote in there records that militarily the US was defeating them in almost every fire fight they got into but the war was lost because of the people at home in America that were not even fighting had lost America the war. Its not my history its the North Vietnamese Army reports that said that the USA had MILITARILY won just about every fire fight they got into. As for Communism. The south was NOT Communist and the southern government asked for military assistance from the USA. The USA wanted to stop Communism from spreading and why not. I have been to many Communist countries and know just what sort of repression they live under. ie: We both would get a long spell in a labour camp for having this discussion.

The ISAF forces are getting it tough in Afghanistan but they are not being defeated. The people have no hope of anything when they live under the Taliban. How would you feel living under the Taliban?
