  • Thanks for the video! I enjoyed watching it. The music was great and the technique you used when handling the knives was too.

  • Great job

  • Like it brother. Cool spoon. I see the other end is a spatula too. I am from the west originally and mesquite is tough wood to cut with a chainsaw. They give it away if you are willing to cut it. It dulls the blades fast. Cut a tree down, cut it up, sharpen and do it again. Ya spend more time sharpening the chainsaw than cutting.

  • the wood looks very tough, but beatiful colour and grain

  • @samrogers101 i guess your penis looks really strange

  • u should have made a fork on the other side

  • where did you get that parang?

  • @samrogers101 hahahaha!!! lol

  • nice calculator watch

  • @DeluxeWarPlaya thanks!! totally vintage!!

  • Ok, three questions.....

    1. Who did the music? I want more!

    2. Which Mora verison is the knife?

    3. How does the Mora hook knife do on softer woods?

  • @itsDJR The music is from a mexican group called TELEFUNKA, they're great right?

the mora is a CRAFTSMEN, and the hook knife works great on soft wood!!

    thanks for your comment!!

  • @itsDJR correction!! the music is by SUSSIE 4, they are also great!!

  • You would be far better off with an axe. Parangs are for bamboo/jungle wood.

Also, you used the middle of the blade for splitting the wood, then tried to use it for carving. You should be keeping the middle section dull, and the top and bottom of the blade sharp for carving.

  • @omfgitsgambit you're right!! I just wanted to try out the parang because it was new, haha!!
