Me too, i grew up with this cartoon since i was 4 and did you know this was inspired by the same year's Black Cauldron? i'm sure this also inspired the Zelda games as well. It was on the Disney Afternoon in 1990 with DuckTales, CnD:RR, and Tale Spin, but when Darkwing Duck came on, they took it off to continue it as a 2hour/4-program show. It was later rerun on the Disney Channel in the mid-90s and eventually taken off for good, but it is out on dvd now.

I hear ya man! Those days were just so much better regarding everything. Nintendo ruled the world with the Nes, rocking games like Super Mario Bros 2, Mega Man 2, Contra, Punch-Out!!, Kid Icarus, TMNT II, Ninja Gaiden ect ect. The Commercials on tv were out of this world, super colorful and incredibly imaginitive, the cartoons actually had morals and were leaps superior and highly creative, the music, the movies...Ahhh i miss it all!
