Carach Angren is probably my favourite BM band. They put on a good show, better than Dark Funeral if I'm honest. (So did Zonaria actually). Awesome band name too, 'Iron Jaws'.

I admit ignorance in the field of Cradle of Filth since I listened to them a couple times but found anything I listened to sucked, but Dimmu Borgir was waaaay better from Stormblast (the original, the remake wasn't better at all) to Death Cult Armageddon. In Sorte Diaboli was a good album in my opinion but after that euchhhh.

But I have met a lot of people who think that they're really into black metal when they only listen to those two bands, it's lame.

Yes, I listen to lots of black metal bands, and yes, I also listen to a lot of CoF and Dimmu, even the new Dimmu stuff. I love symphonic music in general, so I don't mind so much if Dimmu moves away from their roots. If a band made the same album over and over, it would be boring.

Who cares, Carach Angren kicks ass.
