  • are you renting bikes there or need to buy?

  • @jfeuiebf renting will do. I think it was about $5-10 a day

  • Crazy Dutch people always trying so hard to sound worldly with their funny English talk.

  • @royalbrainwave dude, the woman is Australian :-)

  • @backpackdaddy I always prefer staying at Arambol beach(north end)!! Cheaper and less commercialized.. I use a FZ16 for riding in Bangalore where I live.. Enjoy!!

  • @vegdevil Aromol is fabulous! I was there at the northern stripe as well. Great sea view and lovely beach a little further!

  • @backpackdaddy Went there during last new year holidays and due to heavy tourist presence couldn't get my hands on any thing good!! Had a Indian made Bajaj Avenger(pretty much the worst u can imagine from every angle) and another Honda Dio scooter.. The scooter was more fun to ride than the bike!! I'm not a person to ever state something like that, but yeah it was the truth!! But whatever crap bike/scooter u have, once u start riding in Goa, u tend to forget everything!! ;) Its a nice place..

  • Riding a motorcycle in Goa is amazing!! Been there done that!! ;)

  • @vegdevil kinda bike you had? Love to hear your experience!

  • I sold my bullet.... Buying a 1200 nightster...

  • @joey7286 sounds like a very respectable machine as well! Have fun!!

  • did ya get lost?

  • @kunjidee lost? Meaning?

  • @kunjidee u know...like is it easy to get around without getting lost there?

  • I`M PROUD TO BE A BULLETEER!!!!!!! so how was it riding the Standard???? :)

I personally dont like the Thunderbird.... do try the all new Classic 350 /500.. iots amazing!!!! i juz luv cruising on my Classic 350!!!

  • @nerazzurri1985 haha never heard of the term "bulleteer" :-). Sounds great! The Thunderbird was a bit more comfort for the bum. But the 350CC bullet was definitely da bomb! No other bike comes close to that sound! Fully agree with you!

  • @backpackdaddy try riding the new Classic 350 (not the Standard u were riding) & Classic 500!!!

  • @backpackdaddy chek out the website for the newly launched models.. :)

  • good motorcycle, i have a xlx 250 r, i am in Brazil, i like very much, of all motorcycles, its a freedom.

  • @19770077 keep enjoying it! Sounds like a wonderful piece of work on wheels :-)

  • I ride my iron barrel 500 bullet and it's definitely not "shite". And how you could spend 6000 euros on your bike if you can turn a spanner is beyond me.

  • I have one of the few 350 Standard Bullets (1999 350 Standard) here in the usa. Pushing15000 miles with no major problems. NEVER left me stranded. It is a simple reliable bike but is best left to those bikers who are not push button appliance operators, and know a little about how an machine operates and how to maintain it.. My iron barrel 350 bullet will still be running long after more modern sophisticated throw away machines are scrapped. (PS missed shift is simple detent adjustment )

  • @jkt8012 Wauw!! I envy you man! I don't know mechanic stuf but I suppose you are right. If you know the basics, you can fix most stuf quite easy yourself. No computer/electronic stuf involved. Just logical thinking. Enjoy the next 15.000K's!

  • @jkt8012

Yeah, i heard that story too so many times: "My bike is ok, the reason why yours isnt reliable is because you dont know how to treat it right"..Only people that dont know me says that, as the ones that do know me also knows what kind of person i am when it comes to treating engines right.

So yes, you would be right if i was a total ignorant with engines and bikes. In this case, youre wrong.

  • The 350 might be more reliable, the 500 is shite..try to searchfor bullet 500 piston failure..

  • Pfff OMG sounds like a very different bike from the ones I drove. Riding something else now?

  • @backpackdaddy

Nope cant afford another one, now..Spend my entire bikebudget on the thing, which i truly regret as i could have bought a decent bike from a quality company for far less. I have a pile of receipts from HMC that far exceeds the value of the bike. So never again, i should have listen to the experts and bought a Kawa W650.

  • The old engine gave up after 10.000kms, then a new one installed and that one lasted 3500kms ...And everything apart from the frame and tyres has been changed due to breakdowns the first 13.000kms. Cables, gearbox, wireharness, carb, engine(s), exhaust..everything has been breaking on this bike..And note, i am used to classic engines of ancient design.

I have had it for 4000kms and it is by far the most expensive 4000kms i have ever rode, 6000 Euros...

  • Knowing how unreliable the Bullet is i wouldnt even take it to bakery for breakfast. Serioulsy, i know what i am talking about..

  • @meharidude Hahaha of course I didn't say it's a ladies bike huh :-))

  • @backpackdaddy

If i were a lady i would have chosen another bike..If i knew now, what i know about the Bullet i would have chosen another bike..a question: Is the homemarket Bullets better made than the export ones, or is there a Bullet mechanic on every street corner in India? I know for sure mine is a heap of junk..

  • @meharidude I don't know about the homemarket/export difference. I heard that UK motorbikes don't have a very good reputation engine-wise in general. I did not have any trouble riding a Bullet and a Thunderbird in Goa India. In Goa there are a lot of mechanics. I rented the Bullet of the mechanic himself asuming that it wass well maintained. And it was. I ran very smoothly, had the sound of a monstertruck and was shaking like a woman getting close to a great climax :-)

  • so nice to see you have a 'REAL' good taste as far as bikes are concerned!!

  • @urdouchbag many tnx! Was nice ridin' this mean machine!! Drove one before yourself?

  • @backpackdaddy I own one!!...I'm from India..yeah its what i call 'the beast'...

  • nice camerawork man! :)

  • @abhijithcr haha many tnx! Was a great pleasure doin' that (and riding!)!

  • only thing that sucks about indian enfields is reversed foot controls. Its not recommended for newcomers.

  • @ThePunjab2010 LOL I only had regular moped (with gear) experience and heard that Royal Enfield has a similar system so by incidende I had the right experience :-). But did the old English made Enfield had the gear upside down?

  • @ThePunjab2010

Never found that difficult...I found bigger issues, such as generally bad quality, poor reliability...But if you cant use the proper right shift/left foot brake technique, then get a UCE. The have right foot brake/left shift, they even have sissy starting...

  • @meharidude Well I don't own a Bullet so I wouldn't know. I just loved cruisin' Goa on a bike like that. Soooo relaxed. Feeling more "man"! :-)

  • @alexisfaith1987 oh yeah that woman was a great voiceover not covering up my misbehavior on this Enfield ;-)

  • he has done a baeuuuuuutiful gear change....

    OK..we skip dis part

he was just testing on d engine...he wantd to sound d engine on tape,...

    HAHAHA dat makes LOL..........

  • wow............... i can only dream dis.......

  • dude....you got your hands on the Indian monster...

  • @TheStudonfire sure I am dude! Still miss it. Would be a reason for me to go back to India and explore the nothern part with the help of "The Beast" ;-)

  • @The Studonfire any experience yourself?

  • @backpackdaddy hey buddy, here is the latest update on the event comin

India's biggest biker festival open to all Royal Enfield riders and clubs. Goa, November 2010, 19 to 21 visit the website for more info

  • @vijayalur tnx man! Although I can't make it (leaving for Myanmar within couple of days) I'm sure one day I'll hop in! Can I write a small article for other travelers on this? Is there more info?

  • Looks like fun :)

  • @ethan999oz oooh yezz we had big fun!!

  • @backpackdaddy which one did u like best, the bullet or the bird?

  • @ethan999oz Defenitely The Bullet for the sound, the feeling the chemistry. The Thunderbird was offering more comfort though (saddle and electric starter).

  • Careful man, you sure you can handle all 350 cc's of that beast?

  • @McKJudo Well I did survive. That's a start right ;-)

  • thunbs up if u saw tits in the thunbnail

  • @satyampillu1 Hi Satyampillu, can you please explain your comment. I do not exactly understand what you mean.

  • @satyampillu1

wtf man..! learn to respect people..!

  • I rode a 500cc one in manali ..lot more power...

  • @ExtremeTruckerDave Of course there is always a bigger fish :-). But for a guy without a drivers license, 350cc was enough. Maybe I'll get my motor drivers license since I'm looking forward to more power!!

  • i will own one when i go back to india..booooo...thanks for inspiring me Loui..

  • @itsnazeaf owning as in buying one?? Sounds reallly good!!! I doubting going back to India just to can ride a "Bullet" again!! Enjoy it!

  • @backpackdaddy ya dude i meant to say i will buy one...but cant wait..

i couldnt stop laughing when u say " car coming car coming"..lol

  • @itsnazeaf haha the woman is a good fried of mine: no motor experience, no drivers license so the "car coming" could have been of any help haha. I cut the movie down since it took here a minute or 4 just to start the engine. Don't tell anyone huh :-)

  • @backpackdaddy lol..

  • @itsnazeaf we sure had great laughs there!

  • @backpackdaddy sure i will..i will let you know when i buy this machine..have fun..

  • Music to my ears that sound!

  • @sandhu2484 Marvelous machine this Enfield. Just for the Enfield, I would go back to India. Enfield rulezzzz!!

  • That is real bull sound...

    I have one...

  • @S00rabh I envy you mate!!! Still thinking of going back to India to ride one again...gosh I miss that feeling. Keep enjoying The Bullet!

  • @backpackdaddy

This time, make a trip to ladakh..

I off to it next month..

    Try to search: Himalayan odyssey

  • @S00rabh Looks like a great place. Tnx for the tip. I'll keep it for next time!

  • I've seen a couple of Enfields here in Barbados where i live,i love them but i dislike the use of the Thunderbird name,Real Thunderbirds are Triumph 650,'s,i know,i own one, lol,

  • @lotuselanplus2s Sounds like a even cooler bike! The Enfield Thunderbirds ain't a real classic, but "The Bullet" surely is! Enjoy the Triumph!!

  • Great video guys. How much ca you get a bike like that for in India?

  • @dave1234u I think it was for about $20. Not sure, could be less as well. Especially Goa is a good place to rent one. Enjoy!

  • Ahh... thats great... reminds me of my "Thunderbird" rides in Goa...!

  • Sounds beautiful! Like a Spitfire!

  • I still can feel the vibes of this shaking monster when I think about it!! Thanks for reacting!

  • awesome stuff..... envy you really. enfield in goa....freedom for sure...

  • Defenitely, this bikes makes you feel more "man"! I would say, book yourself a ticket and experience the freedom yourself!

  • Liked the video.. Well there is the Mumbai leg of Royal Enfield Rider Mania 2010 from Jan 23rd to 25th.. get the experience of riding with a pack of bullets.

  • Thanks for the info!! Unfortunately I'm not there. But maybe another year. Sounds great!!

  • Sure.. Hope u have the time the next time.. best of luck for that,, keep ridin 'til then..

  • Who knows, is it always around this date?

  • @backpackdaddy yes it is always around the end of jan but not always in bombay. a different club will host it next year, probably delhi. always great fun though. there was a foreigner couple last RM.

  • @urasay2 Thanks for the info man. How do I know what club will do the hosting?

  • you can contact some of the clubs or you can contact me. i keep track of this stuff. it should be finalised in this RM so contact me around the first week of feb and i will let you know.

  • @urasay2 Ok tnx. I'll try to contact you by then! Thanks for now!

  • these bikes are the shit in india!

I wish they had them in the uk

  • How about buying one man. I heard a new one in India costs only about € 1200 (+shipping). Not to bad, isn't it?

  • the price is great in india/

but shipping cost more then some of the bikes doo....

  • Enfields are made in India and that makes me proud to be an indian

  • These bikes are defenitely somtething to be proude of!! Tnx for you comment!

  • 14 Wow! I have a little bit of a Bullet virus myself now as well (31 years :-). I still go mental when I hear the sound of this monster bike. Of course there are Harley's, Indian's and all other kinds of beautiful bikes...but there only one official Royal Enfield Bullet 350CC!! Enjoy Woodford!! (is that the woordford in Northhampton?). I hope I'll ride a "bullet" one day here in The Hague (Netherlands)

  • I learnt how to ride on a bullet when i was 14 on a trip to Punjab. I fell in love with the bullet at that time and the theres no bike that sounds like it. I loved the video and one day soon, I'll be riding a bullet around south woodford!

  • goa, india, -beautiful couple and royal enfield,......does life get better than this......

  • Tnx! Was a marvelous ride. 100% Freedom feelin'! Absolute recommendation.

  • wow nice couple and royal enfield i love it ,i ride this bike in 1996 in karnataka on my friends bike and its awesome and sexy and cool ride as it cruises smoothly after 50 kilometres you just feel like amazing , its like butter , and i tell u what its much better the gas guzzling petrol hundry harleys and triumph who will drill a big whole in the pockets , this is the most economical bike. i will buy this in the future for sure in canada .

  • Tnx for the nice reaction. Exploring Goa by Enfield was an absolute rocking (and shaking :-) experience! I'm thinking of getting one to sometimes here.

    Enjoy!

  • keep coming to india u will love it ,try a yezdi 250 cc or a jawa 250 cc

  • It's defenitely on my "to visit" list as I still want to explore the nothern part! If you see some toeristkamikaze guy on a Yezdi or Jawa, it could be me :-)
