hi nice bass, i have the same car as you do, im going to buy a single 12 inch L7 with enclosure 2ohms, since you have 2 L7s and run 1500.1 watt amp should i go with the 750.1 amp? or should i go ahead and get the 1000.1 amp?

I wouldn't even bother running Kicker amps unless you got a great deal on them. They're wonderful amps, don't get me wrong. But there are better products out there for the money. I'm assuming you got a DUAL 2 ohm sub, so find an amp that will do 500W-1000W RMS at 1-ohm and you'll be more than happy. Hope that helps and don't forget to sub!

@bballstarx124x well i found a deal on ebay that includes the 12" L7 which is rated at 750rms power at 2 ohms final impedance, and the amp is a kicker zx750.1 which is 750 rms at 2 ohms. and it comes with the vented enclosure and wiring kit for 515 dollars shipped, that sounds like the perfect package

That sounds pretty expensive. You can get a lot better package than that. Prefab boxes are wastes of material. They are often too small and tuned way too high. Building one by hand is night and day compared to a prefab

@bballstarx124x are you sure? the 12 inch L7s alone cost 225 if your lucky and the 750 kicker amp runs for about 225, id be savings bearly any. what would you suggest is a good amp then? cause im already going to be spending 225 on the sub itself. so unless i can get an amp and enclosure for under 275 its not worth it and might as well get a kicker amp

No. Those are 300W RMS subs. They're not very great for $200. I've heard them in person.

I'm running 800 to each. The 12s are known to take about close to 1000 each and still run healthy. You could prolly get close to 1500w for a 15 if you dont beat on it
