wow. that was definitely one of your best and most listenable recordings ive heard. albert king is one of the few blues greats im no expert on but i know that sounded great. keep em coming.
Awesome playing once again, Dog. I know you are a Lester is Bester guy, but I think your style of playing would sound even better on a 335. Not too many blues players made a living with a Lester. Just my opinion, Love what you're doing
Well, I wasn't really going for the tone...so much as just a general feel, given that the backing track is a Rhumba in A...much like Crosscut Saw. Thank you!!!
Excellent as always! Thanks for sharing your talent with us. Good phrasing seems to be my stumbling block and you help to inspire me with these vids. Keep it up! Now if you could just share that BT....
I grew up in the eighties and let me tell ya...nobody but nobody played Les Pauls clean or with just a little amp breakup. I never realized how expressive a Paul could acually be until I started listening some of the Les Paul wielding blues players. The Les Paul tone, on it's own, is very inviting. Oh, and nice playing as well, Dano.
Excellent point....I truly think Lesters are the most unanimously individual guitars made. They really allow the player to be himself. Strats, to me...don't have the same individuality as Lesters. Thanks for listening my friend!!
On some of the fast syncopated moves it sounds like the lead may be a very little (and I mean little) bit behind the backing, but it is very very well synced and I could definitely be totally wrong. Nice work!!
Man...you are so damn good!!! I just love the music you play! I can't thank you enough for sharing your amazing talent! I know there are years of hard work to have that "amazing talent" and they show!!! Great video and I don't have the vocabulary to describe that awesome tone.....Hard to believe it's a Gibson through a fender amp! Beautiful guitar and I mean...that tone is really to die for!!!!
You guys who posted on my other video...thanks so much for your support. I think this is a more synched version. Please comment on this if you have time. THANKS!!!

Syncing up a backing track is a real bitch. Never seems to be "just right."
