see i did this and it seemed like it worked at first becuase when i would close the emulator it turned it back on the save would be there and it would work but when i turned off the computer ( after is saved) and then turned it back on the save wasnt there ?? any help would be useful

The main reason a lot of people can't save is because they don't have a .sav file for that game. The game is supposed to automatically make one once you start playing, but a lot of the roms don't do that. so you have to make one yourself. Most people have a DSV file for their game, so find it and rename it with .sav at the end so it goes from Pokemon.dsv to Pokemon.sav. Then put both the game and the sav file inside the same folder. Open your game and you should be able to save it.

thanks Flash 512k bytes was the last one I checked since I was just going down the line. For everyone watching this, the only thing you should change is "NDS cartridge backup media" after that click option and then "save options" that way you won't have to repeat this step every time you open the emulator.

no$GBA2.6a has an auto-setting, which works perfectly fine for me. It just got it to work a few minutes ago, actually. The problem was the rom, it was old. Try a different rom if you still can't get it to work.

If you are having black screen troubles go to utility, cheats, add new, then put

in the big box and put whatever you like for the description. Tick "action replay" and "RAW" then hit ok, double click the cheat you just made so there is a tick next to it then hit ok and it should work
