they are not a very great live band but they are still awesome and really creative and pretty original for back then and even today. this proves that they stand the test of time. 10 years later i still like them after not hearing them since around 2001. (rare case for me)

Are you kidding me? They are great live; especially Jay. I can see how you would say that based on this particular performance, but Jay later changes up his style a bit (leather jacket, cool shades), and though I've always thought they were awesome, his stage movement improves a lot. I just got the Candyass album. I love it, but, no offense, the vocals sound a little whiny at times. Still a great band though.

Aside from that, I agree somewhat. Not with the vocals, just that the album Candyass wasn't "wow" to me. Vapor Transmission is what got me hooked and what impressed me really.

I know. They are just amazing. Vapor Transmission stole my heart and even inspired a book I'm working on. JK is alright though, yet not Orgy. They are like a watered down version. (Heavily watered down). There's only like two-three songs that are decent, and one that I really like. Sigh...What's even more sad is that when they were together, I was too young for concerts.

Totally agreed: JK is ok but lacks ORGY's futuristic-half-industrial-hal­f-electronical riffs and lyrics that perfectly described the story every single song of 'em had to tell... Yeah. JK could use a better writer. I believe Jay wrote the lyrics for Orgy, and JK isn't his project I believe? So that most likely has plenty to do with it. JK has some potential I think. There's parts of the music that I like, but it almost seems like they selected a singer based on "Who can sing the most like Jay?", rather than "Who has a unique voice?".
