please answer this question. what mod do you have on your 13b? i just bought an 87 rx7 with a 13b na stock. and i tried to launch at same rpm as you but the result was different. The wheel just kept on spinning and there was no traction. I tried launching it at 5.5k rpm but it feel so slow. PLEASE HELP! im really frustrated over this. My goal is to launch my fc as good as you.
@phudao41 87 rx7 13b n/a stock was most commonly a SE "Standard Edition" that model "SE" was a 4 lug car with open rear differential. I swapped out everything on my car to GXL which is 5 lug and Limited Slip rear end, and 4 piston calipers which are also found on the turbo cars. You can however have three different options all the pros and cons first is the cheapest pull the diff clean it out bone dry and weld the spyder gears = full locked rear end both rear tires will always turn.
@phudao41 Con to that is cornering sucks and you get some wheel hop, second option is install the gxl diff it will bolt up to all the 4 lug stuff then you get the best of both traction and cornering with out having to swap everything, third is swap everything over to GXL

my 2570LBS 350whp makes corvette owners cry, bring on the M3's,theres a differance between peak horsepower and powerbands, and no piston engine can compare to a rotarys powerband, theres only 3 moving parts in a rotary motor, no cams or valves its all ports, its like comparing the power of a 2stroke dirtbike to a 4stroke
they also move alot more air than a piston motor so they spool turbo's way better than a piston motor, search some video's of rx7's with big gt42 they spool them like nothing
um dood the 95 RX7 FD3S Comes stock with Twin Turbo why do you want to turbo something that already has turbo not unless your saying you want to add bigger turbines.
y twin turbos its almost a waste with all the tunning problems and not really much more gain should just do a nice big single turbo. Less weight, complexity which means less to go wrong and you will still have more power. Get some ecu management hardware and go kick some ass.
don't the turbine spool up faster with twin turbo? because while the other turbine is spooling up the smaller one give the boost then after finish spooling the bigger turbine kicks in and could feel a bigger difference right? and less of a spike

i work for bmw, and have seen what they all can do, m3 is an awesome car no question,
but when you consider the fact that they are 10times more expensive than the rx7 you cant realistically compare the two.
i own a 1985 rx7 and its turbo and would smash the m3 in a straight line, but when it comes down to corners, braking and comfort, m3 is by far better

They are decently fast out of the factory, but beyond that, they are nothing.
RX7's come decently fast as well. However, you can tune them so much and make them into something much more than it comes out of the factory.
