I think Bono was absolutely correct! Just look at the roles that Pava "owned" they are all a part of his life or character! Nemmerino is the little boy who refuses to be denied, that we all love, Rudolfo is the poor but happy childhood he had, Caravadossi is the love of Modena, Italy he always carried, and the Duca--well that goes without saying! Even Pavarotti's Nessun Dorma is his persistence and determination to win! Therefore, Pava was superb at choosing roles which reflected his life!

at 9.02-9.05 luciano looks amazing. he was great looking. the most amazing voice of the angels, an extraordinary personality. god's gift.
