It's funny how LB is talking about how They made one cassette sound so loud, compared to the others he listened to. LOL he is talking about the beginning of the "Loudness Wars", in which final tapes were "mastered" and "maximized" before going to final print. This was a combined form of compression and frequency-band-specific expansion and other tunings designed to bring the general loudness level up. The ultimate result is why ALL of today's music sounds like shit, too hot, no dynamic range!

VERY COOL! I was born in 85. I found out about this band in 04!!! I hate todays music. How come there is no bands like this today? I could not hear it to well at the start though who where they talking about? Do you know any of the band members? How did you get this!?!?

Love this!...I met Lindsey in Las Vegas just after his first solo album. He was super cool, we hung out in the Hilton lounge where my friends band was playing. I had to talk him into sitting in with them, he was a bit shy! Him and his friend (who I believe is the guy standing in this video...not Richard Dashut) sang a few Everly Brothers tunes...It was awesome!!

God given talent combined with such flare for music and melody! He deserves so much more recognition than he sometimes gets. I was once told I was "hiding" behind my guitar and the world. I wonder if he was doing this. Seems he was/is very shy/private fellow. Guitars are easy to keep one from the world and yourself. Lindsey is a fantastic guitarist, just a thought about this iinterview.

Lindsey is so cute in this vid. I just think hes so talented too. My fav is him playing as the conversation floats around him. He must feel amutated without a guitar in his hand. Its like a part of him. Thanks for posting this Jackie!
