  • And, I think that may be Tom Petty in the background, there for guitar lessons!

  • LOL 2:42 in, the camera pans to the masked dude from "V for Vendetta" !

  • It's funny how LB is talking about how They made one cassette sound so loud, compared to the others he listened to. LOL he is talking about the beginning of the "Loudness Wars", in which final tapes were "mastered" and "maximized" before going to final print. This was a combined form of compression and frequency-band-specific expansion and other tunings designed to bring the general loudness level up. The ultimate result is why ALL of today's music sounds like shit, too hot, no dynamic range!

  • off chops. But what talent.

  • looks kinda like bret mckenzie from flight of the conchords with that hair and beard, hehe

  • whats that style of playing like in know its finger picking but the the tune what style is that

  • What is that tune he's fingerpicking from 1:50?

  • he's off his gourd on cocaine but a great guitarist

  • Hahah i love how he like compulsivley plays his guitar!

    He's amazing as always!

  • VERY COOL! I was born in 85. I found out about this band in 04!!! I hate todays music. How come there is no bands like this today? I could not hear it to well at the start though who where they talking about? Do you know any of the band members? How did you get this!?!?

  • I love that he's playing this beautiful little noodled tune on guitar completely effortlessly while having a conversation about monitors... Genius. Plain and simple.

  • AWESOME Jackie! Thanks for sharing all of these amazing memories xox

  • Great video! need more of stuff like this! Lindsey is amazing! He has inspired me to pick up my guitar again.

  • Love this!...I met Lindsey in Las Vegas just after his first solo album. He was super cool, we hung out in the Hilton lounge where my friends band was playing. I had to talk him into sitting in with them, he was a bit shy! Him and his friend (who I believe is the guy standing in this video...not Richard Dashut) sang a few Everly Brothers tunes...It was awesome!!

  • Is this drop D or like double drop D tunning. i know its a nylon but I would love to be able to figure out that epic shred from 2:00 till bout 2:35, its bluegrass ragtime funk.

PLEASE someone help me out here, just the tunning would be great

  • @Milkm4n2005 It's open G tuning: DGDGBD

  • does anyone know the name of the tune lindseys playing here ..so cool

  • This is fantastic!! I must have watched it 100 times!! Lindsey is a genius on the guitar to sit and noodle and play in such an amazing way!! God given talent combined with such flare for music and melody! He deserves so much more recognition than he sometimes gets. He is my hero and I am sure the hero of many others and nowadays heroes are hard to find!!!

  • best acoustic guitar player ;)

  • I agree. Thanks for commenting!! (:

  • I was once told I was "hiding" behind my guitar and the world. I wonder if he was doing this. Seems he was/is very shy/private fellow. Guitars are easy to keep one from the world and yourself. Lindsey is a fantastic guitarist, just a thought about this iinterview.

  • Thanks for viewing my video!! (:

  • @skilski2003 pete townsend said, you can be the shyest person in the world but when you play live you can go into character and be an extrovert.

  • man I wish I could play guitar like that lol

  • I wish I could too. (lol) Thanks for your comment and for viewing my video!! (:

  • I love how he just goes off on that riff at 1:48 like it's nothing. Guess it's easy if you've played guitar since you were 8! lol

  • I agree ~ He makes it look so easy. He's AWESOME!! Thanks for your comment!! (:

  • GENIUS. Enough said.

  • I agree. Well said. Thanks for your comment!! (:

  • Lindsey is so cute in this vid. I just think hes so talented too. My fav is him playing as the conversation floats around him. He must feel amutated without a guitar in his hand. Its like a part of him. Thanks for posting this Jackie!

  • Thanks for your comment, Joan!! Very well said. (:
