sadly yes, it's a terrible recording. I have no idea if this band is the original (i'm not american nor old enough to know that), but sounds pretty good live. They come to Guadalajara (México) almost every year around january 1st to play at a traditional dance in the city.

Actually, this is THE licensed Glenn Miller Orchestra, from Los Angeles. Rick Gerber leads the band, under the auspices of the Miller estate. Unfortunately, it's a terrible recording, done with a camera phone. The mix is poor, but the band is very good.

I know that you boys think that you are experts. However, you may care to do a little research before you start bad-mouthing these musicians, who are more successful than you could ever dream to be.

I play in the original Glenn Miller Orchestra under the direction of Larry O Brien currently. This band sounds terrible. If you you want to put up videos of a pick up band let people know that's what it is.
