I love my 325i. Only mod is a Signature Motoring performance intake kit. They run around $150 and add around 9hp in the six-cylinder E30s and a bit less in the 318. That's the best value per HP gain... A good value for the extra oomph. General HP increases are shown:

E30 series: 6.0-13.4hp gain

E36 series: 5.5-12hp gain

E46 series: 6.0-13.9hp gain

E92 series: 8.5+ hp gain

Z3/Z4 (all): 5.5-13.9hp gain

Once the Turbo kicked in, turbo-version started to pull harder than the opposition. Had the turbo floored it slightly before the V10, and not the other way around, the result might have been different.

Love this V10 e30 M3. But you must give some credit to the 2.8L turbo E30. Seemed to keep up fairly well. especially compaired to how hard the V10 M3 pulled on every other car I have seen it race. Either way. Simply amazing e30 M3
