  • SO SO SO BEAUTIFUL :')

  • beginning sounds a little like spiderman...

  • these books and movies have a greater impact on all of us then we can even begin to imagine....................thank you harry

  • " Marry Christmas Hermione"

    " Marry Christmas Harry "

  • @kirajacksonforever33 *Merry not Marry

  • When I read this part I cried my heart out because I know how it feels like to stand in front of your parent's grave and to wish that they were still there with you. And I felt his pain and every breath that he took was to wished he had those words: "Mom... Dad..." back in his life.

However in the movie Daniel was merely crying & I didn't really felt any emotions emitting from him. I cried only because I remember the scene so vividly from the book. If only Dan cried like how Harry did.

  • @berry24 actually Dan's version was pretty good IMO because...well Harry had to be strong at the time...so its kind of like being strong and sad at the same time? besides did you see what was written in the book right there? Sorry I might have forgotten the exact words...but it was something like he felt his parents lies under the ground, bones now, or even ashes, indifferent, unknowing, not caring that their living son stood so near...so its a little bit of mixed feelings right there.

  • @xFirebird925x Yeah but imo it wasn't good enough. In the book Harry cried so much harder. C'mon it's your parents and I know it was difficult for Daniel to express what Harry was feeling because he had never lost anyone so close to him but still if you were a good actor/actress you would make people feel what your character is feeling ex: when Emma Waston cried as Hermione, I felt that it was real and when Rupert was angry as Ron, I felt his anger. Dan-- Dan needs more practice.

  • @berry24 yes I agree to become good actors they still have a long way to go...but I guess it just depend on how you look at it :)

  • @xFirebird925x Yep that's true.

  • @berry24 So who do you think might be a better actor for Harry Potter?

  • @marcusduck I never said there was a better actor for HP. Dan is great but he needs to bring more emotion and acting skills to the table like Rupert and Emma.

  • @berry24 I LOVE EMMA!

  • @animelionking Same here!! She's an awesome actress!!!

  • @berry24 TOUCHE!! :) :)

  • Alexandre was great for the score i just hope John Williams comes back for the last film to end what he began.

  • @Jr2green hes not its alexandre again

  • @paulolivo911 Really? Well I still think Alexandre is great too. (:

  • The godrics hollow set was just PERFECT.

Especially when you see Harry and Hermione in the middle of the street, it's so eerie, and quiet. Yet peaceful.

This movie and music was a true piece of art.

  • The thing that really made me cry in this scene in the book was reading Harry's thoughts about how he wished to be in the ground with them and how he was wondering if they knew he was standing there. They couldn't really capture that in the movie (unless he had a soliloquy or something), but it was still extremely heart breaking because I knew what he was thinking.

  • i have always liked harry potter but i liked it even more when i read the books in 7th grade this song is soooo said i luv it i have always liked instrumental music the best

  • The movies has been extremely fortunate to always pick the perfect composers for the music. Every movie has a soundtrack that fits the mood of the overall movie, the its individual scenes. As the story progressively matures and changes with the characters, the music reflects that mood explicitly and definitively. This movie is no exception from the rule, every song fits the scene, and the music fashions an overall overarching and cohesive emotional experience.

  • My favorite scene in the book, all the way up to Harry;s wand breaking. When they first arrive in Godri'cs Hallow, to the end of the whole major scene. SIGH, I love it so much. I just WISH they would've showed the whole scene of VOLDEMORT killing HARRY'S parents, and how it happened that night :(

  • i have goosebumps whenever i listen to this. this scene made me tear up in the movie. <3

  • R.I.P

    Lily and James

  • honestly to everyone out there that says harry potter is for nerds! i say hell no! this is absolutely amazing!

  • there are just no words to describe how amazing beautiful, and sad this is. This just makes you feel the reality of what happened to harry and how emotional something like seeing your parents' graves really is. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING

  • I cried when i saw this part and i still even tear up hearing the song again! its sooo beautifully indescribable i love it soooo much! RIP James and Lily

  • This is BEAUTIFUL! I want to see this movie again! this is just wonderfully beautiful!

  • i CRIEDDD at this part and my friend looked at me and was like "REALLY!?!?!? REALLY!?" i was like YA! ITS SAD!! how would u like it if you found ur parents grave that you never met! and he was like true true

  • This is absolutely beautiful. So much sorrow in this. And the scene. I really felt Harry's pain :'( Made me cry.

  • Piano + Cello = PERFECTION

  • More CELLO!!! :D

  • so happy theres no haters to say this sucks... this is soo amazing! this whole albums just simply amazing <3

  • I really wish they had put the singing of the carol in here when they first arrived. That was beautiful.

  • @silasreade It was a bonus track: "My Love is Always Here" by Alexandre Desplat. :)

  • does anyone know the name of the christmas carol sung in the background during this scene?

  • @lemonvapour I finally found it! It was a bonus track: "My Love is Always Here" by Alexandre Desplat.

  • Alexandre Desplat is my new favorite composer! Even all the twilight haters out there have to admit the new moon soundtrack was also a masterpiece. His music is so beautiful and it grasps that emotion and amplifies it even without the movie. So gorgeous.

  • Who else was watching the abc family Harry Potter movie marathon while listening to this?

  • Who else was watching the abc family Harry Potter

  • @Harrypottergals123 yes, 'ear 'ear
