I'm really sick of people saying the goverment did it blah blah blah I DON'T FUCKING CARE. THOSE WERE FUCKING PEOPLE. I can't even fathom getting a phone call from my mother saying she loved me right before she jumped out of a window seriously fuck you stop with the controversy those were innocent people and we may never know who did it. Because you know we also did pearl harbor and the oklahoma bombing and virginia tech and hurricane katrina too. Just stfu and give respect to those people.
this song reminds me that america isn't about towers...its about people who do the best they can with all they got to make a dream come true. it's about liberty and the designs of others and just life itself, all of which can come between a man/woman and their ideal glory, but like president obama said,'nowhere else in the world is my story possible.' that is america. times get dark, it gets hard, but we will prevail and continue with the grace affored us to make the 'impossible' ... possible.
@fechi5 yeah obama is the creator of war and all the worlds misery. the sole reason why europeans left europe and massacred tribal communities in distant lands, the reason why foreign empires invade less advanced nations and rape, massacre and pillage and try to recreate them in their image, the reason why obama himself had to be born in a nation steeped in racism and bigotry. whatever youre smoking keep smoking it...itll kill you soon enough. stupid..we can do without.
@AJkillface I was with my brother the first time I watched it, I was young and didn't sit through the whole thing on dvd (I was playing on gameboy from time to time), but I saw the ending and I really felt like crying.
I'm from Greece and a lot of my family moved to New York in the 1900's . America is capable for the best and worst. Make your country strong again, Americans. BTW where were you when you first saw this?
@WTAWWR08 The first time I watched this movie I was in a hotel room in Laughlin, NV. It had been a night of partying and a day of being in the hot sun. So after everyone crashed out I paid the 4.99 or whatever and I'm glad to this day that I did hahah.
@WTAWWR08 I first saw it about an hour ago. I know I know, long time since it came out, but I was 12 at the time. Anyway I decided to watch it today instead of the Uni work I should have been doing haha. Glad I did, some of the best procrastinating I've ever done. Such an amazing, emotional film.
And I agree. America is capable of such great things. They just need to stop squabbling over petty things long enough to realise it. I plan to move there some time in the future.
i likee!!!

@tsenokqwz Obama's right, his story and every other story won't be possible in any other country as he keeps on bombing them

@nothing980454 I'm afraid that problem has to do with your computer. Check codecs and speaker connection.

When the twin towers appear it reminds me what a strong nation the US is.
teta809 1 year ago
@teta809 does it also remind you of how the american government killed its own innocent people in those towers?

Gangs of New York has the best soundtrack to any film ever made. Every song and instrumental in the full is great lol, and the film is amazing.
