Standart M90 transmission from the factory, after 1996 all 940 have the M90. This 940 Classic is from 1998

Hi,

use SMD LEDs with a T10 socket.

@josch244 Incorrect, M90 was first used in the 940 of 1995 modell. It was uppdated for the 1996 modell trough with a stronger sync ring.

@Infinityl33t Nope, the M90 came 1994 (only on Turbo models) :) I know couse ive owned a -94 945 Turbo :)

@740volvo740 Well that depends, here in Sweden they are only avaible on the 1995 modells and newer. Thoose are for sale from 1 July 1994 but are atleast sold here as 1995 modells.

I think manual. The boost is lost during shifting.

how about the turbo version top speed?

170 is enough to loose driving license :-)

2,3 turbo (B230FT) manual top speed ~200 km/h.

I've got AW-71L too and I still prefer automatic :-)

I once tested a 740 B230E -88. It might have ZF but i really can't remember so accurately. After a roundabout I pushed the accelerator quite a lot to get it shifting down, and just a little more it shifted down again.

It was my first Volvo-experience so I only remember some highlights of it :-)
