@daanneeeeee Car is running fine, running anti-lag and flat foot shifting.Thus the exhaust pop when a gear shift is made. Exhaust crackle comes from anti-lag when the accelerator is lifted. It's set just the way Ken likes it.

Don't wana sound picky, but it's not drifting if the car is four wheel drive. In drifting the angle of the car is mainly dependant on the speed of the rear wheels spinning, with the front wheels rarely losing traction, which requires a huge amount of skill. Really, anyone can "drift" a 4x4. Although watching Ken and the likes is good fun!

2wd the front wheels have traction and the rear pivots around the front

4WD both front and rear have to lose traction to get sideways, alot harder

most pros are 2wd for that reason

Ken Blocks car is not setup to drift anyways it is a RALLY car, what he does on the pavement is practice for when he's in the dirt

I also race rally. and by far 2WD is much easier to get sideways.... just a little to much gas and sideways you go. now rally on the other hand you literly have to slow down, and then just about redline to get it around. now if you have never done either you have no place to talk. I have been racing for along time, started with go carts at 14 and went on from there, 28 years now

Dude, that's a tiny ramp anyway. He could make that in his sleep. I'd care less to see him jump such a lame setup. Let Pastrana do the record jumping. Block is watched for his freestyle drifting, of which he is pretty darn good at judging by this video. Ooops, did I say drifting? Technically, he's not like a Japanese drifter who is all about drifting since I've only seen him compete in timed races. Put the clock on drifters and Ken is gold.

He had a mechanical issues. You could hear the announcer say something about the transmission. So he aborted the jump for his safety. Nothing wrong with that.

did u think that jump was 100ft tho, it said on the TRAX site that he was going to be doing a "spectacular 100ft jump" that jump he does is maybe 30ft from base of launch ramp to end of landing ramp
