Today's the day to express our thanks to Ron Paul! He has asked us for our help NOW and his campaign has said that the Dec 16 Tea Party will be too late to impact the crucial early primaries. Money is needed NOW! I just donated my $100 and I know that we can "stuff" Dr. Paul's campaign with cash today if we all give what we can! Let's show the "turkeys" who don't believe that Dr. Paul can win that we are not taking a day off! The fight for liberty continues! Donate Today & help post this!
Everyone please donate to Ron Paul. Even if it is only a dollar or five dollars, every little bit is going to help. We need to fill the Statue of Liberty full of money by the end of this month(October). Let's all prove them wrong who said Ron didn't have a chance.
Hey--when is the next Republican debate? I wanna hear more from this guy! (And have you noticed that Giuliani laughs at him over the mic? I hope someone calls him on that bacuase it's immature and disrespectful: We can't have that kinda prez AGAIN!)
If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their money, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks], will deprive the people of their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered." He's the only hope for America. This is the United States last chance. If the people don't make their voice heard and ensure that this man is elected as Prseident then America is doomed.
iamthewitness. Your web-site is just another hyped up fringe group making crazy accusations about historical events. Your site even talks about Paul McCartney being dead in 1966, simply because he didn't react the way you wanted him to when he was interviewed about John Lennon's death. Paul and John were not close idiot. You have ZERO credibility.... Get a life you moronic freak.
His reason and clarity is soooo refreshing , like you can breathe again...as i'm French , no chance for me to vote , but you all , please try to make it right this time!!!!
He is truly learned. And yes, xdream1, it's very cool to watch him engage the press and everyone he talks to. Look at us! We can't get enough! :-) Can't wait for him to be elected.. Go Dr. Paul
It's so fucking funny how the news is just being taught lessons by Grandpa Ron. Hilarious. They stop asking questions, and are just in awe of this amazing man.

reward our allies like china by giving them better than average rates but immediately close down all differential returns and emphasize trade with countries whose return is better than average.
immediate increase on tariffs for all imported goods, make it as costly for walmart to buy a widget in china and sell it in the us as it would be to buy it from a us manufacturer.
immediately pass policy to restrict us corporations (this should have been done 40 years ago) from outsourcing infrastructure, penalize those who do and underwrite funding for an internet based "attack" strategy against corporations who knowingly sell out the us market to foreing competitors.
The main problem is that we asked government to step in to trade. Government doesn't solve problems, it only creates them. Allow the market to operate freely then we can compete with overseas producers. The minimum wage and the ever increasing tax rate on US Corporations are some of the reasons Corporations do business overseas, because it is cheaper and more profitible for them to do so. Lets kill the Corporate Tax and the Minimum wage and allow the market to work as it was intended.
Unfortunately, he has zero sense of social responsibility. While we have too much "social responsibility" in this country at times, he goes too far the other way.
Paul's answer to that would be the principle of limited government, putting the burden of social responsibility not on a central government (collecting large amounts of taxes) but upon local governments and community which the former will interfere with as little as possible.
He does not believe in the concept of a nanny state. Many Europeans do quite well with such a setup, but this is not necessarily suitable for Americans it's always up to the people to decide.

Exactly, move the government control back to where it should be at the local level. In fact, if we did that we would see a move back toward the traditional value that those who worked supported those members of the family who couldn't work.
i completely agree that monetary reform must coem first but without addressing the trade imbalance directly alot of potential voters might lose faith.
This idea of "social responsibility" is rooted in the idea that it is the government's job to take care of some at the expense of others. Minimal research will show you that the govt is not capable of handling this responsibility without becoming grossly corrupt.
Actually, minimal research will show you that the gov't IS capable of handling this responsibility without becoming grossly corrupt. European nations enjoy such a set-up and so does Canada, and Canadians LOVE their health care.
It is Americans that seem to be incompatible with socialistic-style government policies.
this is essentialy my only objection to ron paul, i would like his stance clarified; one cavaet, his economic policy focuses too much on banking and he needs additional personnel to flesh out a trade strategy.
Is not a component of trade figuring out what form of exchange(money) you are going to use? Trade relies on money(a form of exchange) if your money is worthless then how can you trade? Stablizing money would fix a whole lot more problems, then fixing trade.
Of the 10 Republican Candidates, Ron Paul is the only Real Conservative Republican of the pack. All the others are just BushCo enabling wannabe's. Email Corporate 'News' Media and demand they give Ron Paul airtime.
But let it not be said that we did nothing. Let not those who love the power of the welfare/warfare state label the dissenters of authoritarianism as unpatriotic or uncaring. Patriotism is more closely linked to dissent than it is to conformity and a blind desire for safety and security.
Understanding the magnificent rewards of a free society makes us unbashful in its promotion, fully realizing that maximum wealth is created and the greatest chance for peace comes from a society respectful of individual liberty. -Ron Paul
Every Federal Reserve Note in circulation was loaned out, they are Obligations of the United States. They are on the Debt (-) side of the Accounting book... the US Treasury Bills, are the Credit side of the ledger (+) .... China buys these bills, so does japan.... thats what Paul is trying to explain.... Welfare, Social Security is all based on keeping people in debt.
Gold and Silver legal tender are the true constitutional lawful money. House Joint Resolution 192 (1933) made it against Public Policy to require gold payment in contracts... it also made it illegal for UScitiznes to own gold
It's refreshing to see a presidential candidate (Or any politician for that matter) answer questions so astutely and with such clarity. It seems to me that the reporter here wants to "trap" Dr. Paul and hopes to make him stumble or come up empty...but he nails every question. Very impressive.
How is it possible that I learn something new EVERY SINGLE TIME I watch a new video of Ron Paul??? 4 years of college has NOTHING on 4 hours of Ron Paul!!!! Never in my whole life have I ever been this interested in the economy and our monetary system!!!
That "Against the Wind" song at the end of the piece is degrading to Ron Paul. It's pathetic. It seems to give the impression that all is futile. Not to mention, it's a horrible piece of music in the first place that reminds one of some old hippy. I suggest someone change that theme song.
It's time to stop talking, It's time for action. If voters give an excuse for nominating anyone other than Ron Paul for president next year, they will become traitors to their country, and traitors to freedom.
I consider myself to be fairly informed, but every time I listen to this man it's an education. I can't think of a single other politician I've ever heard that I can say this about.
Wow! This was the first time that I heard Ron Paul explain the benefits of legalizing gold as money. That is truly the only way to stop government overspending. Otherwise, yeah, they government will just keep printing and printing in order to pay for its expenditures therefore causing our dollar to become worthless. Bravo Ron Paul.
I'm still not quite sure I understand his position with gold standard. With the amount of money we have in circulation there's no chance it could ever be backed by gold, we would have to spend billions on mining. Also if we can't print money how do we replace it when it goes bad? I'd like to hear his response to that. I do agree with getting rid of the Federal reserve because of corruption. The printing can of money that isn't replacement money can be halted with very strict regulation.
Sure, if gold is $60000/oz, the dollar could be 100% backed by gold. But I don't think that's what he's talking about. He wants to make gold and silver legal tender, in competition with the dollar. To do that you just have to remove the taxes on the competing money (capital gains).
