@cultofmactv thanks for responding. I noticed the dock disappeared for a moment, as you mentioned it would, but dashboard shows up. Should a try typing again?
Is it possible that the repairing of disk permissions can break something?
I have one harddrive with two partitions, osx and windows. After the repairing windows don't want to boot anymore. Do you have any suggestions how to fix this problem? btw nice video!
These tips may speed up your computer (at least some of them), BUT they slow down MY productivity! i prefer to wait a few seconds longer during startup than to start up all my start up items separately...
And the thing with the desktop items is just ridiculous... we don't live in the 90's anymore!
today's cpu/graphic card is powerful enough... having too many icons // folders on desktop WON't SLOW down your mac. This is ridiculous. Yes, maybe on windows 95, it was something. but on a modern day intel processor mac?
@JGLYcanofwin That is a setting in the screen recording program he is using (Screenflow). It is used to help the user follow the mouse easier and can be turned on in screenflow.
hello, i have a question, if i disable the dash feature, but how can i restore it back again? thankz

Could you do a feature about upgrading your Mac's memory... like for someone who has no idea what they're doing?

@ezrs158 If you have an iMac you can upgrade the ram by opening the bottom panel. Watch tutorials here on youtube.

@PaulLeary try retyping it. That could be your issue. Any misspelling will set it off.

@JGLYcanofwin When you are recording the screen, the mac automatically does it to show the viewer where the operator has clicked...
