  • @Nigel16032009 - We will never agree - to me it's either nervous over-firing or playing to the gallery. Yes, it's a spectacle but so is a pile-up in motor racing - you don't want it if you're a real enthusiast. and I've been one for about 65 years. Sorry if that sounds patronising but it's not meant to. :-)

  • Sound as a £! Pity about the location.

  • Far too much smoke - no need for it, and what can the public think? You very rarely saw that amount of clag in the days of steam because firemen knew it produced less heat, sooted up the tubes and the resulting public disapproval would hasten the demise of steam, as this will if there's too much of it.

  • @Rosie6857 - I Love clag, and it makes photos/videos look far more interesting.

  • brilliant.

  • brilliant thanks

  • Not as good as a Black Five!!

  • thats what i call an engine

  • LMS is still the best!!!!!

but that was a good effort.....

    for a great western engine.

    LMS all the way!!!

  • GW power at its best. Just marches away up the bank.

  • Unusual location - shame about the modern cars.

I was higher up the bank.

  • Moc gut,dobré rachoťák...

  • No its in unlined GWR livery. Strangely though it has a BR boiler smoke box door number board.

  • Nice location and even better film.

  • WTF? the Loco is in BR livery, but the tender is in GWR livery.

  • Yep, It's an early BR livery...
