wow. so did not like that. why do singers feel the need that have to "mariah carey" every song for it to be well recieved. "the higher the note, the better they'll like me". what happened to singers actually singing songs with feeling?

you will always have this... IDINA VS. SHOSHANA... FOREVER... Shoshana has the better voice however Idina has been performing on broadway for longer so she has more experience...I personally prefer shoshana but i will say this Idina needs to tone herself down because she screeches a lot during cornet man

It's really a matter of taste/personal preference. I like Shoshana a lot. She's great. But I prefer Idina's voice.

Shoshana has the larger range than Idina and she can do more with her voice, but it's too heavy for my taste. Don't get me wrong, I LOOOVE listening to Sho sing, but I can only take so much of it. I always feel like I need to take ten minute intervals to give myself a break in between. It's just...too overwhelming.

With Idina, I can listen to her all day and not be overwhelmed by her voice because it's not as heavily done. My personal opinion. =)

I like Idina better as a performer, and her performance is sort of a bigger production, but the these performances almost seem like different songs because they are just done so differently...it is very interesting and i like it :-)

What is with everyone having issues with Idina? I am a classically trained singer, and granted, she wails on some of her notes, but I don't think she's hurting herself. Give the girl a break. Seriously.
