I think i used some old LEDS as well on the left side. You can chain five 74193 and create 80 LED chaser if you do not want multiple LEDs glowing at the same time.
Pretty cool but why are your left side LEDs so much dimmer then your right side LEDs? I need to make a chaser for about 80 LEDs, something that looks just like an old movie house marquie.
