There are like 11 or 12 M134s in circulation before the automatic weapons ban like I think it was 30 years ago in the 70's or 80s. Something about them being grandfathered about it, such as vehicles without seat belts before it was required by law they be implemented into vehicles.

You can get a minigun but they are expensive. $50k to $75K per gun depending on accessories. Then you have to feed the thing and at 100 rounds per second it can get expensive in a hurry. But they are very reliable and accurate.

There are only half dozen or so in private hands. A rich man's toy for sure. But I still want one!

I am a gun enthusiast so know what a minigun can do but how does a private citizen in the US get hold of one and do all states allow it? And like you,sure I would love one.

First is a class 3 permit for automatic weapons, which basically gives any law enforcement agency rights to come into your home and inventory whatever you have any time they choose, after paying a few grand, etc. and going through background checks, et al.
