Look like the photos are from early 2000's. Anyway got back from Korea a week ago. I currently live in Los Angeles and also lived in East Coast of USA for many years. Yeah people in Seoul is very fashionable--more so than here. I was also quite surprised by how tall people were as well. I think New Yorkers definitely have good fashion sense; but, rest of USA people dress like crap.

I went to S. Korea and Japan last November and I was amazed on how good the people looked there {in both countries}..Every night was like new years eve on the streets..most girls wore short skirts and high heels and full make up, and it was freezing out but they didn't seem to mind..it seems like they care what they look like and make a real effort to look good every day of the week..and not just Friday or Saturday night.

i think, actually, a lot of the asian countries, especially korea, copies a lot of the western cultures when it comes to fashion trends. electronics on the other hand are much more advanced, actually. europe is definitely a big trend setter because all of the chic stuff come from there like milan and paris.

You are right about the people in my country being overweight or obese. Plus many white americans are not that tall compared to many other countries. We are big horizontally but not vertically. The younger generation south korean and japanese people such as people in their late teens to mid 30's seem taller than white americans. I am only a 172 cm tall white american male but at this height I am very average compared to other white americans. I feel short compared to european and korean men.

i think, actually, a lot of the asian countries, especially korea, copies a lot of the western cultures when it comes to fashion trends. electronics on the other hand are much more advanced, actually. europe is definitely a big trend setter because all of the chic stuff come from there like milan and paris.

You are right about the people in my country being overweight or obese. Plus many white americans are not that tall compared to many other countries. We are big horizontally but not vertically. The younger generation south korean and japanese people such as people in their late teens to mid 30's seem taller than white americans. I am only a 172 cm tall white american male but at this height I am very average compared to other white americans. I feel short compared to european and korean men.
