Hey I was wandering If you knew how to make a watermark that is only text, Because i'm making some videos I want to link to a place I write articles for. And I wanted It to show up, And I kept doing a transparent background and when I would save it as a GIF and a Png they would come up both in black or white backgrounds. And I just want the text hovering over what ever I have recording.

that's probably because you didn't make it on a transparent background, or you didn't save it as the right file type, try saving it as a .png

i made it a transparent background and i saved as png and it still was a white box i followed this tut step by step

when you make a new project go to advanced>fill with> transparent that will fix it
