Mirtnesh is the first Amharic singer I was inspired by her song, that was because I used to go to Egyptian church in Sudan where I was born. There was this day my friend invited me to go with him to Ethiopian church, and I did. So in the church they were singing Mirtnesh's song named "semeshene". I was happy to listen that song! Now, every time I listen to her song, I stir up. It reminds me everything I have been through in my life, and I have these tears in my eyes run like a river does!
