Sweet bikes! I wanted one of these so much when I was a kid. I'm 50 years old now, but I remember these bikes. I push-mowed yards and chopped cotton in Arkansas two summers to finally get a new 1972 Honda SL70 in red. To this day, most fun bike I ever owned! Oh, youth. :)
I bought one like the blue one brand new in 1969. Being a '69 model, it had the round "Honda wings" logo on the gas tank. Other than that the '69's and '70's were identical.
What's amazing was the the price of the bike. Brand new, from the Honda dealer at Ryan Rd. and 13 Mile Rd. in Warren Michigan, it was only $249.00. Hard to believe today, isn't it?
What size carb is on the bike? Thank you.
