  • Looks like you've spent a lot of time on it. Should of just bought used yerf dog kart and saved yourself lots of time and money.

But I'm sure it will look awesome once you are done.

  • @buggyfast bad ass! im in the middle of building one with a kawasaki ninja 600 cc motor in it but having trouble with spark in the motor and wiring:(

  • @hondarancher29 Thanks for the comment, but wish i could help you but not good with wiring myself but check your cdi or wires from stator to cdi going to need a meter to find the break in circut good luck, not looking forward myself when i get to that point

  • MUTE but cool go kart

  • Heres a question, how did you make the mounts for the suspension and motor?

  • @SaberWolf1900 cut mounts out of plates i found and shaped them on a stone grider, motor mounts still have to come up with something for the yamaha engine

  • I'm going to be makeing a off road gokart in the spring and I was wondering how did you set up your steering because I can't think of a way to set up the steering

  • @moocow97 i ended up buying a 11inch rack n pinnion

  • Thanx I'm learning alot from this vid :D

  • Watch the f=gearing when you set up the engine. My kart got a little heavy and goes thru belts pretty quick.

  • @qtband also make sure clutch's are strait

  • im going to build my own go-kart do you have any tips?

  • @iKoolKat1 well the best advice i can give is try to look 3 step's ahead of the build on what your about to do it seem's to save time and less changes

  • realality?

  • how much did it cost to build

  • @bob98127 not done yet but hope to stay with in 2500 or less

  • HERP DERP

  • love it! im designing my own go kart and thats esentaly the same design as mine! aswome! mine wont be as refined though i dont have the tools to make it that nice. so the rear is a 3 wheeler frame the front might be a 4 wheeler frame section and the roll cage will be like yours but made from what ever scrap I can find!

  • @FordMonsterTruck home made to me always rock's,just got done chopping my front end off do to unforseen problem's and went with frontend off a Blaster donnor from scapyard

  • can you send the plans of it in a mail to my youtube-account? :D /Kossamu30

  • @kossamu30 sorry no plan's were used in the making of these two buggy's.Made two from a jig we put together.did research on what other's were doing out there for some basic idel's

  • How much $ would you say goes into that (not counting the engine)

  • Great looking dune buggy.

  • @1aauto thank's, they are pretty cool can't wait

  • what kind of tubing did you use?

  • @dreamof777 mainly used 1inch steel tubing 1/8 thick

  • just wondeing how much did all this cost without including engine and tires?? plz responde back

  • @highdude69 I'd say about 800 to 1000 just depend's on parts and supply's you can come accross to save

  • pretty awesome dune buggy but you gotta change the rear shock position to like 90 degres or pretty closse to it.

  • @salsa1034 Ya got in a hurry, about to make a few changes.just now got the front end almost redone

  • What size of tubing did you use?

  • @yez180 mainly used 1inch steel tubing 1/8 thick

  • Looks good, any update on this? did you have to rejet the carbs for the warm weather? did you go up or down on sizes? just wondering cause i did the same thing.

  • looking good.did you make plans?

  • @96Jaxon thanks, but didn't have plans. My buddy made a bender and we let our vision run with it

  • Looking great!!!

  • @xljimmy89 thank's

  • Looking good, but I think you might want to turn you rear top shock mounts 90*. You want the top of the shock to be able to pivot in & out, rather than side to side (how it is currently set up).

  • @aussiekartman Yea i was wondering if it would bind more and wear on the shocks

  • @buggyfast How is the engine holding up? I want to build a buggy but not too powerful but not to slow. I want to have a 250cc+ buggy. a snow mobile engine would be better in the winter right? and aren't they automatic? But can you inbox me or reply to this comment on how you set up the engine to the wheels. I know it sounds sill but what i've heard is that guys would weld a sprocket and then run a chain some how. Let me know. thanks.

  • re uploaded again?
