A little description of the translation:

Do remember that Pakistani poems are usually written in a woman's voice. A woman without her man feels vulnerable, and so "she" sings that amidst her tears, she repeats his name for his return to her embrace.

Or as our Master of Rum puts it, the flute crying out to be reunited with the reed bed. Since our poetry's base was established by mystical poets, the trend has continued into 'profane' poetry as well.

Can someone verify that Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan had the largest number of recordings ever made by an artist? I have heard this quoted many times in Pakistan but was not sure if this is a recognized record.
