  • breath taking song. my inspiration is nfak sahib :)

  • he had better known the music.whenever he sings i feel the voice is not of any human.anyother entity is singing inside

  • This is the music of Sub-Continent and There is no one living in whole sub-continent at the moment who can do it like after 3:25 Master Nusrat did that.

If there is one then tell me his name.....even Rahat cant do it like this way...though he himself is a great singer n he tried doing this song but truly speaking he is still no way near to this level of perfaction and mixing of Raagas the way Maestro did..

love the men who r masters of their professions whtever it is..

  • @GabbruPunjabi you are absolutely right there is no one like sir nusrat,

even rahat is very talented but nothing in front of sir nusrat.......the greatest product of pakistan..............the proud of pakistan@

  • nusrat is king

  • @mika420420 I am listening to the music of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan now as a way of keeping the suffering people of Pakistan in my prayers

  • 3:51 was that "maa ke lorre"?

  • @lestephenois1 Hahaha!

  • @lestephenois1 Have an appointment with a good ENT specilist and a Psychiatrist..

  • @9chak come on man, admit it sounds like that. Ustad sahib probably didn't know it and its probably an old music phrase like sa-re-ga-ma, but its still funny.. 3:51..listen again.

  • @lestephenois1 Its ma ga ga garai.. Not man k lorai...

  • @9chak ohhhhh..... your right, you spoiled it man.

  • @lestephenois1 lolz, its classical u cant understand it.....sa-re-ga-ma is basic just shuffel them and sing u can get different combination.....

  • @clintyeux good keep it up and good luck

  • thanks all of you..

yes Nusrat is a legend, he is a voice from heaven..

  • Master of all Ustads, a legend in life and legend after

  • Great colaboration between two geniuses. Alll things are made possible by the creator and i thank him for this possibility.

  • Awesome bro .. Thanks for the upload :)

  • thanks for all..

  • cant compared anyone to nusrat...no one was ,is , and will be eaual to great master nfak............

  • A little description of the translation:

Do remember that Pakistani poems are usually written in a woman's voice. A woman without her man feels vulnerable, and so "she" sings that amidst her tears, she repeats his name for his return to her embrace.

  • @PakBaluch Thats not the reason why the poems are written in first person feminine voice, its a sufi influence where the nafs -which is feminine in Arabic- cries out to be rejoined with its creator. Or as our Master of Rum puts it, the flute crying out to be reunited with the reed bed. Since our poetry's base was established by mystical poets, the trend has continued into 'profane' poetry as well.

  • Nowhere, nomadik, did I write the reason why the poems are written in the feminine voice--- I merely wrote out what it means or translates to in English----

Have a thorough read before sharing irrelevant correction with others users.

    Cheers!

  • So Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali sings in the chorus that, "she" is embarassed, shy, ashamed to be seen without her lover, her man. She so repeats her lover's name amidst her tears in the hopes her lover would come back to her embrace, his home.

  • I am not quite sure about this translation could anybody please help me with this?

I feel ashamed?? without you, please come home my love.

Wailing, I call your name, please come home my love.

  • @lestephenois1 Shaman Paiyan, tu ghar aa dholna = Its already dark, or getting dark, come back home my love.

Ro Ro key Dewaan Sadaa = I keep calling your name whilst crying

  • jis din pyaar ke ehsaas ko smjh jao ge,

us din apni dharkno mein mera he naam pao ge,

mera pyaar us waqt de ga tumhe awaaz,

jab tum duniya ki bheed mein khud ko akela pao ge

  • Creo que aun no se le reconoce su verdadera dimencion.

    Nusrat es un musico extraordinario

  • plz not compared anyone with nusrat

  • shakal ka pata nahi baat achi kiya karoo ...

  • Allah Gift this great Singer 2 PAKISTAN

we as human proud of his contribution to music .. it was a great lose but luckly we will have his work ever...

  • this singer was a gift to the whole world

  • agree with you buddy but still a great gift to the world from pakistan

  • the names of all countries are given by people, humans are one species - its a scientific fact.

  • yeah and he was one of that human who was luckily born in PAKISTAN ..

  • Respect. That has to be one of the best comments on youtube.

  • sorry bhaji he was born in punjab. The unfortunate punjab of pir fakir and guru's which was destroyed raped and killed years ago and the punjab who still cry for peace but people cant stop dividing it wether they are from east punjab or west punjab

  • Ustad nusrat fateh ali khan is not a singer He is magcian , a great magician who puts people heart mind in his controll He is mind blowing 10 STAR RATING FOR THIS SONG EXCELLENT .

  • This comment is narrow minded and quiet silly!

  • truely voice from heaven

  • lol

  • Bohaut aala !!!!

  • U r the man

  • nusrat fateh ali khan is alive in ourr hearts !!

  • Amazing

  • i love

  • incredible soaring vocals

  • i m sure Nusrat saab along with Lata Mangeshkar has sung the most number of songs ever in this whole world.

The difference ofcourse is that Nusrat also composed them himself, he has released more than 100 albums, his unreleased albums wud be almost the same, mixtapes wud come around 200 as well, wow!!!

  • Sa ni pa ma ga re SubhanALLAH

So lets not sow discord in the precense of legendary man, ustad khan sb, aap pai khatam hai baki sub

  • What you went to say?My family also from India

  • bgacias por siempre por esa musica hermosa

  • One of the best musicians and singers that I have ever heard, if not the best. Unfortunately he passed away on my birthday :-(

Can someone verify that Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan had the largest number of recordings ever made by an artist? I have heard this quoted many times in Pakistan but was not sure if this is a recognized record.

  • buddy check out guinness book of world records n you ll know by ur self i guess that'd be more authetic for u as copared to "Pakistan"....no offence

  • Guinness Book is published every year with new records in it, the online version does not address this particular one. As for your comment about the authenticity of Pakistani sources, I think you are just biased, you put Pakistan in quotes, 170 million people and the one to criticize cannot spell authentic, compared, or offense. tsk tsk - if you don't know the answer to my question, why bother? And who would know Khan Sahib better than the Pakistanis?

  • may allah bless u in peace in junnat
