O is actually rare enough, though not as rare as AB. But O is also the universal donor group, so Martin should be pretty proud of it.

@mrslmathers I thought he was joking too, but in a later episode (when Martin rescues a little girl from drowning) Paul mentions his army career again. Think they might have just forgotton about it to write in the 'blood group' story :)

A ploughman's. I fancy one now.
The fresh crunchy bread, the crispy lettuce, a really tasty tomato, all as a back ground for the English extra mature cheese. Set these off with a nice dab of Branston pickle.
Wash it down with a pint of best bitter.

@xwingclass. I suspect those now working in a pub are not able to make a ploughman's.
Thank God we can buy the ingrediants and make it at home.
Funnily enough I am having spaghetti bolognase today for lunch.
