well you mentioned being addicted as being a weakness right next to mentioning drugs doing the same. weed has like no negative health effects. some drugs can foster creativity with minimal risk. some can barely give you anything with all kinds of risks(see prescription drugs). not sure why there's such a huge taboo against illegal drugs, but no one seems to care about the ones we take every day.

Addiction is weakness - It's being completely reliant on a substance for thrills. This means that without said substance, you can't do anything. Hence it being a weakness.

Weed might not affect physical health, but it has many negative effects on mental health. Weed turned my cousin schizophrenic.

I didn't say being addiction wasn't a weakness, I was merely explaining why I thought you were saying all drugs are addicting, because of the way you worded your sentence. @skylancer90 weed can assist in inducing schizophrenia but only if you're predisposed as being sensitive to having it. Mental disorders are all caused by stress on the body and mind, if you smoke weed because your pressured to do so it may cause you to develop some kind of mental disorder. But if you do it for fun it should do the complete opposite. Only hallucinogenics can trigger psychosis in pre-disposed people. rule of thumb is do it because you want to, not because your forced to
