I have a 49 KB8. full on semi truck baby! I rolled the body an bed off an 85 nissan pickup an dropped the cab, monster grille, and piano style hood on it. 27 mpg an fun as hell. I gots pix but dont know how to send them to you. Stay vigilant. Itll be hard to finish this but not as hard as living with quitting it.
I'm posting a video soon of the best chop technique for a IH truck. I have 3 '41's and I figured it out. Since the doors don't really have a flat spot , you don't need to cut them ,you cut the crown out of the top and flatten it down and drop the rear window, even with the windshield. Mine will soon have Jag IFS and IRS, sweet ride...

that's right. it's a mazda b series / ford courier diesel version, their engine mounts are more conventional than the petrol version. get both types here & intend putting an old land rover body onto one of the diesel ones with ford running gear.
Man youve got some work in front of you! I've got a 57 International thats getting a 351 Clevo and FMX and I already have a 9" LSD disc brake rsend under it. mines rough but yours looks almost like a basket case , Good luck.
Good luck. My friend & I are building a 41 chev pickup. Just got done chopin the stock frame in back & front. Also modified the front straight axle to make this thing super low. Chopin the cab is next. Also put a huge C notch in the rear frame to accept the late model chevy rear. If you want, I can send you some pics. JK

Big job ahead of you!
Best of luck!
Great to see an IH pick-up based "rat rod" rather the usual Chev, Ford, Dodge choice.
