Well, my character, blueflame23, wears all black for two reasons. 1) I like the color, and 2) In several maps it makes me much harder to see. So it's part tactical sense, and another part just aesthetic value.

Metal gear online is bad. Your eyes are behind too far behind your body. It should had been a view like socom. crossair over the shoulder and tight third person view. How can you sneak and back stab? Sorry, but they failed at it. I rather play metal gear solid 3 or 4.

christah310, online gameplay is free, well at least the first character you make is free, if you want to make another character then you have to purchase it... but i think the game is fun and its just amazing.. it reminded me more of socom:combined assault (FOR PS2) and i love this game so much worth every penny you pay for it, story and online is good.

The add-on is a must have for any MGO fan !

Get Gta4 instead of COD4 gta killzzz. COD looks fun. If u enjoy fps u shud get. But if u enjoy an open third person shooter where u can hide in a city surrounded by people everywhere who want you dead and you have to get cars to run them over or blow them up with bazooka, Gta4 is the game ...:P

nice vid, after a day i realised its not run and shoot everything, its wait for the optimum shot ,take out your mark and move on. It takes patiance and "tactical espionage".

This isnt COD4 and it dont try to be.

I got killed by guys i coundnt see not guys I had a gun fight with. I think the controls force you to think about what your doing.

I love this game, its a thinking mans shooter.

If you mean being able to change your clothes after you made your character, then no. But hey, there is always hope for a patch later.

Until then you can enjoy the new game modes, more faces and voices, guns, attachments and maps.

People also seem better at using SOP and actually use SOP skills.

I think they changed the 80 gig to be bundled with MGS4 now, so that would save you some money.

Having four times the memory is nice. You wouldnt have to worry about deleting stuff as much.

it's not gonna come out for the 360 there is no possibility. It's been confirmed that they will not port it to the 360. Plus the game would play like shit on the 360 and 360 doesn't have Bluray and without that u can't fit MGS. Go online and see what Konami has said about this.

No idea. Though I will say this. I must have been the only person in the world who managed to do all the steps to play without having a single problem.

All the patches went quickly, I got my ID in about five minutes, the card I got had 12 digits.

Hahaha nice review/preview. I have to admit that sop is a very valuable tool. Although there's a lot of stuff that need worked out. Main reason is the camo, you can just see someone from far distance and you'll notice it. There's no more grass or many places to hide. The octocamo is the only thing stealthy in the game. It makes snake disappear instead of making him stick out at a swore thumb when leaning on a wall :P

Apparently they changed the walking speed of people. Thats what the first patch said anyway, dont have a way of testing how big a change it was though.

Player.  Also if enough people join someone gets to control the MK2 to help him out. I plan on doing another review of the final version once its out which will cover all of this in greater detail.
