wicked playing. I do have to ask a weird question tho. Does he have press-on nails? 2 on his picking hand look white. I know some classical players put a clear coat on their nails to strengthen them. Maybe he's polished them?

Yes he does have press-on nails. They are on his right middle and ring fingers. Many years ago he used his own nails but kept breaking them.

That is incredible, and I like the way he looks and grins at you at the end. He's saying...yeah, pick your chin up off the floor.But playing music is also about expressing emotion, not just showing off. No disrespect, just a thought.

Careing: This video is from an instructional DVD. Its meant as a way to show a bunch of licks he teaches in the DVD. He put them together to make this tune.

Paul is one of the most emotional players around. His slow stuff on recordings is all emotion and many times very simple. He is also the most humble guy you will ever meet. He never does anything to show off.

All you have seen here is a small, specific example of his picking. He plays many, many styles.
